Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent reported that a Palestinian was martyred as a result of being shot by Israeli occupation army forces, and five others were injured during the occupation forces’ storming of the Dhanaba suburb and the Tulkarm camp in the northern West Bank.

The occupation forces continue to besiege Tulkarm camp from all axes, amid renewed clashes and heavy flights of reconnaissance aircraft.

Armed clashes renewed in various parts of the camp, amid loud explosions. The occupation forces stormed the city of Tulkarm with a number of military vehicles and two bulldozers, and headed towards the camp.

The Palestinian Red Crescent reported that it had received calls reporting the presence of injured people in Tulkarm camp, adding that the occupation forces continue to prevent its crews from working.

For its part, the Israeli occupation army said that its forces, border guards, and Public Security Service had launched a military operation since yesterday, Sunday, in the city and camp of Tulkum in the northern West Bank.

The occupation army added – in a statement – that its forces “killed a Palestinian militant and found combat equipment and local manufacturers for manufacturing explosive devices.”

The Israeli army explained in its statement that its forces have arrested about 4,000 Palestinians from various parts of the West Bank since October 7, including about 1,700 detainees belonging to the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas).

In Nablus, in the northern West Bank, three Palestinians were injured on Monday by Israeli army gunfire during their storming of the village of Beit Furik, east of the city of Nablus.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society said that its ambulance crews treated three casualties during confrontations with the Israeli army in the town of Beit Furik, and transferred them to the hospital.

Eyewitnesses said that several military vehicles belonging to the occupation army stormed the town, and confrontations broke out with residents, during which the army fired live bullets and gas bombs, resulting in casualties.

This brings the number of Palestinians killed by the Israeli army in the West Bank since October 7 to 497, in addition to about 4,950 wounded, based on data from the Palestinian Ministry of Health.

In parallel with its war on Gaza since October 7, the Israeli army and settlers have escalated their attacks on Palestinians and their property in the West Bank, including Jerusalem.

Israel is waging a devastating war on Gaza that has left tens of thousands of martyrs and wounded, most of them children and women, in addition to massive destruction and famine that has claimed the lives of children and the elderly, according to Palestinian and UN data.
