An Israeli soldier expressed his astonishment at a mural painted by Palestinian artists near the Rafah crossing in the Gaza Strip, expressing his astonishment during a video that circulated on social media in the past few days.

The Israeli soldier said in the video clip, “Every time I think I have seen enough here in Gaza, this place continues to amaze me. We are now at the Rafah crossing, where there are two Red Cross vehicles and a tank that continues to fight.”

He then reviewed the mural that embodies the Palestinian resistance against Israel since the Nakba in 1948, and even the massacres to which the people of the Gaza Strip have been subjected since October 7, 2023.

At the beginning of the mural, pictures appear representing figures belonging to the Palestinian resistance, then it presents details of the Nakba, the destruction of mosques and the fall of Palestinian martyrs, along with a picture of an Israeli plane dropping bombs, and Al-Qassam Brigades spokesman Abu Ubaida giving one of his speeches in front of the camera, along with other pictures of Al-Aqsa Mosque. And for resistance and rejection of the occupation and the map and flag of Palestine.

It is not clear when the video was broadcast, but it is likely that it was filmed after the Israeli army invaded Rafah (south of the Gaza Strip) and took control of the Palestinian side of the land crossing located on the border between Gaza and Egypt.
