The “Islamic Resistance in Iraq” said that it targeted, with a drone, an American base near Erbil Airport in the Kurdistan region of Iraq.
The attack comes a day after the American strike that targeted sites in Iraq, killing an Iraqi soldier and wounding members of the Popular Mobilization Forces, under the pretext of responding to an attack that targeted the military base in Erbil, and led to the injury of 3 American soldiers.

A few days ago, the Islamic Resistance in Iraq said that it had targeted the platform of the Israeli Karish gas field in the Mediterranean, stressing that the attack directly hit the target.
This was preceded by the resistance’s announcement that it “bombed a target in Umm al-Rashrash (Eilat) with appropriate weapons.”
The “Islamic Resistance in Iraq” explained – in a previous statement – that it is continuing to bomb the strongholds of what it described as the enemy in response to the massacres committed by the Israeli occupation in the Gaza Strip against Palestinian civilians.
It is noteworthy that Iraqi factions – most notably the so-called “Islamic Resistance in Iraq” – launched dozens of attacks on American bases in Iraq and Syria, in conjunction with the war waged by Israel in the Gaza Strip, which has so far led to the martyrdom of more than 21,000 – most of them Of women and children – more than 55 thousand were injured.
American officials acknowledged that these attacks had occurred, but said that American forces in Syria and Iraq responded to most of them, in addition to directing strikes in Iraq and Syria against sites they said were linked to Iran.
