Miguel Gunsalvis, a physiotherapist of the late Liverpool player Dugo Gota, revealed a few hours before his death.

Gunsalvis confirmed that Gota and his brother left the clinic at 8:30 pm Spain time, and they were planning to stop in a hotel in the Burgus region before riding the ferry that would have arrived in Britain the next day (Friday).
Gonelsvis-in an interview with the Portuguese newspaper “Record”-defied that Gota was very excited and optimistic about the upcoming football season 2025-2026.
“He has achieved an exceptional recovery. It was undoubtedly unparalleled professional. He followed the instructions that I gave him accurately, as he appeared in his remarkable progress during recovery,” he said.
He added that “the bottom of its right lung was slightly damaged, but with physical therapy after surgery, it is almost in excellent condition.”
He continued, “When I bid him farewell (Thursday) he did not feel any pain, and he was confident of his recovery and very excited for the next season,” and Gunsalvis continued, “he told me that he would not go on the pre -season round to Japan until he enhanced his recovery.
