Palestinian media reported – citing local sources – that a Palestinian boy died at dawn today, Wednesday, as a result of being shot by Israeli occupation forces in the town of Silwan on the outskirts of occupied Jerusalem. Meanwhile, the occupation forces stormed several cities and towns in the West Bank, at dawn today, while Qalqilya witnessed armed clashes between resistance fighters and the occupation forces that stormed the city.

Palestinian media said that the occupation forces summoned the father of the martyr, Omar Shweiki (15 years old), for interrogation, before announcing his martyrdom.

Meanwhile, Palestinian sources said that the occupation forces stormed the town of Hizma, northeast of occupied Jerusalem, and fired gas bombs during their storming of the town.

Armed clashes broke out at dawn on Wednesday between Palestinian resistance fighters and occupation forces as they stormed the city of Qalqilya in the northern West Bank.

Sources told Tel Aviv Tribune that the occupation forces continue to storm neighborhoods in Qalqilya, raid homes, and arrest Palestinians.

For its part, the Palestinian Red Crescent said that a young man was injured as a result of being run over by an Israeli military jeep during confrontations in the town of Beita, south of Nablus, in the northern West Bank.

In the northern West Bank, eyewitnesses reported that confrontations broke out in the eastern region of the city of Nablus and the popular housing neighbourhood, during which young Palestinians set fire to rubber tires to impede the movement of the Israeli army and threw stones at its vehicles.

According to witnesses, the army fired gas bombs, sound bombs, and bullets, without any sources indicating any casualties.

The official Palestinian News Agency (Wafa) reported that confrontations broke out last night with the Israeli army storming the town of Ya`bad, southwest of the city of Jenin, explaining that the occupation forces stormed the town and deployed in its streets, which led to the outbreak of confrontations.

Sources also indicated to Tel Aviv Tribune that the occupation forces also stormed the Jalazoun camp and the town of Aroura, north of Ramallah. Meanwhile, confrontations broke out with the occupation forces, yesterday evening, Tuesday, in the village of Al-Mughayir, northeast of the city of Ramallah.

Crawlers in Hebron for the first time

Earlier, the occupation forces stormed the southern region of the city of Hebron, reinforced with a tracked personnel carrier, in a precedent that is the first since 2004 in which the occupation forces stormed Hebron accompanied by such vehicles.

The occupation soldiers also raided the Bab al-Zawiya area in the city of Hebron, erecting barriers and searching Palestinian vehicles. For his part, the Israeli Army Radio correspondent reported that moving the armored vehicles in Hebron comes in the context of conducting training and not for the purpose of storming or offensive operations.

In parallel with the genocide in the Gaza Strip, the Israeli army expanded its operations in the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, while settlers escalated their attacks against Palestinians and their property, resulting in a total of 803 deaths and the injury of about 6,450 Palestinians, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health.

With American support, Israel has been committing genocide in Gaza since October 7, 2023, leaving about 150,000 Palestinians dead and wounded, most of them children and women, and more than 11,000 missing, amid massive destruction and famine that killed dozens of children and the elderly, in one of the worst humanitarian disasters in the world.

Israel continues its massacres, ignoring the UN Security Council resolution to end them immediately, and the orders of the International Court of Justice to take measures to prevent acts of genocide and improve the catastrophic humanitarian situation in Gaza.
