A Palestinian boy with American citizenship was martyred today, Friday, by Israeli occupation forces’ bullets near the city of Ramallah, while the number of detainees in the West Bank since the start of the Al-Aqsa Flood Battle exceeded 6,000.

The Palestinian News Agency quoted medical sources as saying that the boy Tawfiq Ajaq (17 years old) was martyred after being hit in the head by live bullets fired by occupation soldiers in the Uyun Al-Haramiyah area near the town of Al-Mazraa Al-Sharqiya, east of Ramallah (central West Bank).

Reuters news agency quoted the uncle of the martyr Tawfiq as saying that he was born in the United States, noting that he was shot during confrontations between Palestinian youths and the occupation forces.

Also near Ramallah, a young Palestinian man was injured by live bullets fired by the occupation forces in the town of Kafr Nimah. The Red Crescent said that the injured person was taken to the hospital.

The Israeli occupation forces stormed the villages of Budrus and Qibya, west of Ramallah, and conducted patrols in the two villages.

This included attacks on a number of Palestinians before those forces withdrew.

In the northern West Bank, a young Palestinian man was injured by occupation bullets near the southern checkpoint of the city of Qalqilya, according to activists.

Palestinian sources reported that clashes broke out between Palestinians and the occupation forces near the northern checkpoint of the city of Qalqilya, noting that young men set fire to the gate of the separation wall.

In the Nablus area, Israeli army snipers took over houses in the village of Madama, according to local sources.

Since the resistance launched Operation Al-Aqsa Flood on October 7, the West Bank has witnessed daily incursions accompanied by arrest campaigns.

The Palestinian Prisoners’ Club said today that the number of people arrested by the occupation in the West Bank since that date exceeded 6,000.

Tulkarm operation

Meanwhile, the Israeli army spokesman announced today the end of the military operation in Tulkarm (north of the West Bank) after storming it for 45 hours with the participation of forces from the army, border guards, the Musta’rab unit, and the General Security Service (Shin Bet).

The Israeli army said it searched 1,000 buildings and arrested more than 37 people during the operation.

Before their withdrawal, Israeli forces caused widespread destruction to the infrastructure in Nour Shams camp, and the Palestinians likened the effects of the invasion to the remnants of the earthquake.

The people of the city of Tulkarm mourned the bodies of 6 Palestinians who were martyred by Israeli occupation forces’ bullets during the storming operation.

The funeral procession started from Thabet Thabet Governmental Hospital, and mourners roamed the streets of Tulkarm, chanting slogans denouncing the ongoing crimes of the Israeli occupation against the Palestinians.

Yesterday, the Palestinian Red Crescent announced the death of 8 Palestinians, the bodies of two of whom were seized by the occupation forces, while dozens were injured by live bullets during the Israeli aggression against the city of Tulkarm and its camp.
