South Africa launches legal battle against Israel before the highest court of the United Nations.
Israel’s war on Gaza has killed tens of thousands of Palestinians and forced most others from their homes.
From now on, he will have to answer to the accusations of genocide in court.
South Africa files a complaint against Israel before the International Court of Justice (ICJ), the highest legal body of the United Nations.
Although a final decision could take years, the ICJ could issue an interim order ordering Israel to end its campaign within weeks.
So how important would this be? And will this help end the conflict?
