Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent said that there were 70 martyrs as a result of the occupation bombing of Al-Maghazi camp, east of Deir Al-Balah in the Gaza Strip, and he expected the number of martyrs to rise, in one of the heaviest strikes launched by Israeli forces since the start of their aggression against Gaza.
He added that the occupation bombing targeted 4 homes in the camp, and explained that the large number of martyrs was due to people meeting at night in the homes.
The correspondent pointed out that the presence of displaced people and immigrants in those areas increases the number of martyrs, as some homes may contain about 100 people on many occasions.
The spokesman for the Ministry of Health in Gaza, Ashraf Al-Qudra, said, “What is happening in Al-Maghazi camp is a genocide of a crowded residential square.”
For its part, the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) issued a statement in which it described the air strike as a “horrific massacre” and said it was a “new war crime.”
