The foreign ministers of Australia, Germany, Italy, New Zealand and Britain strongly condemned the decision of the Israeli security cabinet to launch a wide new military operation.
The scope in Gaza.
The ministers said in a joint statement, “The plans announced by the government of Israel warn of the violation of international humanitarian law,” and the statement added, “We are united in our commitment to implement the two -state solution through negotiations.”

On Friday, the Israeli security cabinet approved a plan to occupy Gaza City, to ascend the military operations in the destructive Palestinian sector, and the displacement of the residents of Gaza City from north to south.
This step has sparked renewed criticism at home and abroad, with the increasing concerns about the war that has been going on for nearly two years.
The plan begins with the occupation of Gaza City by displacement of its population of about one million people to the south, then surrounding the city and carrying out incursions into residential gatherings, followed by the second stage and includes the occupation of refugee camps in the middle of the sector, which was destroyed by large parts of it.
According to the United Nations data, 87% of the sector’s area is already today under Israeli occupation or subject to evacuation orders, warning that any new military expansion will have catastrophic repercussions.
