A team of United Nations experts condemned, on Thursday, that Israel escalated the annihilation campaign against the Palestinian people in Gaza, and called on the international community to end its “complicity” in the face of Israeli atrocities in light of the continued ceasefire talks without progress.

Experts said in a statement, “The orders of the displacement issued by the Israeli authorities targeted the latest strongholds of the international humanitarian response in Gaza, as well as direct attacks such as the last fatal air strike on the Palestinian Red Crescent Society,” considering that Israel used starvation as a weapon and brutal weapon in the war, which is a crime under international law.

They added that more than 500,000 people, that is, a quarter of Gaza’s population, face famine, and that the rest of the population suffers from hunger levels, noting that all 320,000 children, under the age of five, face the risk of severe malnutrition.

Experts pointed out that these crimes occur at a time when the residents of Gaza dies, led by children, collectively due to hunger, and lack of access to food, water, health care and shelter. “

They continued: “What is called humanitarian stops and weather projections is not sufficient to address a crisis of this size.” They stressed the need to allow the entry of “unrestricted and uninterrupted humanitarian aid to Gaza.”

Experts stressed that the illegal restrictions imposed by Israel on humanitarian aid have created “life conditions that actually lead to the physical destruction of the Palestinian people in Gaza”, and they indicated that this matter is “actually punishable by international law as genocide, as is the case with killing and collective starvation of Palestinians in the sector.”

Experts also recorded that Israel is working to “exterminate the residents of Gaza by all possible means”, highlighting the killing of more than a thousand Palestinians by Israeli forces while they were line up to obtain humanitarian aid.

Experts pointed out that 70% of these deaths occurred in sites established by the so -called “Gaza Humanitarian Foundation” supported by the United States and Israel, stressing that these deaths are added to more than 59 thousand Palestinians who were killed and 140,000 were injured during the Israeli random attack on Gaza.

Experts warned that the orders of the displacement forced the entire survivors in Gaza to accumulate in no more than 12% of the Strip’s lands.

They said, “The Israeli proposals to force the inhabitants of Gaza to the so -called” human city “on the border with Egypt can only be considered an attempt to establish a detention camp with harsh conditions that eventually compel the Gazans to leave their homeland.” Experts called on the international community to take a long -awaited action to protect the Palestinians and hold Israel accountable.

They added, explaining that the continuous genocide committed by Israel against the Palestinian people “is possible thanks to the complicity of countries that continue to protect Israel from the political and diplomatic consequences of its actions, and instead chooses to suppress freedom of expression for its citizens who condemn these horrific crimes, while continuing to provide Israel with weapons, trade and economic support.”

The Umayyad experts continued criticizing the international community and its institutions, as they said, “The United Nations has not yet presented the situation in Gaza clearly as a collective genocide, despite the existence of compelling evidence that Israel is committing prohibited and multiple acts under the genocide agreement, in addition to public statements issued by the Israeli leadership that calls for continued starvation of Gaza.”

They also pointed out that the European Union “failed to take any measures to impose sanctions on Israel because of its violation of its human rights obligations under the partnership agreement between the European Union and Israel.”

The UN expert team concluded their position by saying, “Without urgent international move, the phrase” will never be repeated “will not indicate the prevention of genocide, but rather to the end of the existence of Palestinian life in Gaza.”
