Ukraine announced that it was subjected to Russian attacks with hundreds of marches, artillery and a ballistic missile during the last night and morning coincided with US President Donald Trump’s announcement to start sending a shipment of Patriot air defense systems to Ukraine.
According to the statements and statements of the Ukrainian authorities today, Russian attacks killed a woman and wounded more than 20 people in multiple areas, while a missile attack cut off electricity and water in the city of Kreifi Reig, the birthplace of the Ukrainian president.
The Ukrainian Air Force announced that Russia fired at least 400 aircraft marching on Ukraine between late last night and morning, in addition to an Estander -style ballistic missile fired from the Crimea that it included.
The local authorities reported that the attacks of a night march on Venita in central Ukraine resulted in 8 wounded, while 3 others were injured in an attack on the city of Kharkif, northeast of Ukraine.
Local officials reported that the Russian attacks on the city of Kreifi Reig wounded at least 15 people, destroyed an industrial building, and disrupting electricity and water supplies.
The mayor of the city, Olexander Felkol, told Telegram that a 17 -year -old was among the injured.
“The young man was injured in the abdominal cavity. He was immediately transferred to the hospital, and he is in a dangerous condition. Now doctors are struggling for his life.”
“This has not happened before. A ballistic missile and 28” witness “missiles” simultaneously “, referring to Iranian -made drones.
Patriot on the road
The bombing comes two days after US President Donald Trump pledged to impose strict sanctions on Russia unless a peaceful settlement is reached within 50 days to end its 3 -year war on Ukraine.
Trump announced on Tuesday the start of sending a shipment of Patriot air defense systems to Ukraine from Germany, adding that the United States will get its full price.
Trump explained that this shipment takes place under an agreement supported by NATO (NATO) and that the payments will be paid either through the alliance or from the European Union member states.
On Monday, Trump announced at a press conference with NATO Secretary -General Mark Route that the two sides had reached an agreement to send weapons to Ukraine.
He explained that the United States will produce the weapons that will be sent to Ukraine and that NATO will cover its costs, and has vowed to raise customs duties on Russia by 100% if it does not reach an agreement with Ukraine within 50 days.
It is noteworthy that the last meeting between Ukrainian officials and Russians to hold direct peace talks was more than a month ago, and there was no date for other meetings despite the Kremlin announced his openness to more talks.
Russia has intensified its summer campaign on Ukraine in recent weeks, as a ceasefire has fallen in Washington.
Russian progress
Its army continued to advance it in the battlefield, while Ukraine bombed joint air strikes of drones, artillery and missiles.
The Associated Press reported in a report today that the Russian forces are approaching the eastern strongholds in the Boukrovsk and Costinenifka regions in the Donetsk area, and systematically seized villages near them in an attempt to cut the main supply routes and surround the defenders, a slow attack that started months ago.
According to the agency’s analysts, these strongholds will allow Russia to advance towards Slovenk and Caperamesk, which paves the way to seize the entire Donetsk region.
Analysts believe that if Russian forces take control of these recent strongholds, this will open this way for them to advance in the west towards the regional capital, Denipoproprovsk, a major industrial center that includes nearly one million people, about 150 kilometers west of Russian sites.
According to analysts, the fighting to Dniprobetrovsk may harm Ukrainian morale and give the Kremlin greater influence in any negotiations.
In the adjacent Logansk region, the Ukrainian forces control a small segment of the land, but it seems that Moscow has not been given a priority.
Ukrainian leaders say that the volume of Russian operations and their virility indicates that any gains change the balance of power are far -reaching, as Moscow forces advanced slowly at a high cost of their forces.
The Ukrainian forces, which are exhausted, feel numerical and tester, as they depend on the drones to thwart the slow Moscow attack. It is easy to monitor any major movements of the forces and weapons by the drones that are spreading so much that both sides use them to track even individual soldiers and attack them within minutes.
Russian forces intensified their air attacks on Ukrainian cities and launched a record of a number of drones last week, and the Ukrainian army also attacked Russian targets, most of which are linked to the energy system.
