Ramallah- A Palestinian official report reported today, Monday, the death of 4 Palestinians by settlers, and the discussion of the competent Israeli departments of 165 expansion planners in the occupied West Bank settlements, in exchange for the demolition of 588 Palestinian establishments during the first half of this year 2025.

This came in a semi -annual report of the Wall and Settlement Resistance Authority in the Palestinian government that summarizes the violations of the occupation and the settlers presented – during a press conference – the president of the commission, Muayyad Shaban and the assistant in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Affairs Omar Awadallah at the headquarters of the commission in Ramallah.

Shaaban pointed to a total of 11 thousand and 280 attacks by the occupation army during the same period, including 2153 attacks by the settlers, which resulted in the death of 4 citizens.

Institutional attacks and expansion

The head of the commission said that the settlers’ attacks ranged between “the attack on the Palestinian villages, the attack on the safe ones, the setting of homes on the heads of their owners, the shooting of citizens, the establishment of colonial outposts, the control of the lands of citizens, the attack on the streets and cars, and the launch of organized and dangerous attacks.”

He added that from the beginning of the year 2025 until the end of last June, the relevant Israeli authorities discussed a total of 165 structural schemes for the expansion of settlements or the establishment of new settlements, of which 124 planners in the West Bank colonies and 41 planners for Al -Quds Al -Sharif colonies.

Shaaban stated that these allocations include “a total of more than 8,685 housing units in the West Bank colonies and 8865 for Jerusalem colonies.”

He continued that in the first half of the year 2025, settlers set up 23 settlement outposts on the lands of citizens, most of which are pastoral foci in the governorates of Ramallah, Nablus, Hebron, Qalqilya, Tubas and Jerusalem.

Confiscation and demolition

On the level of land confiscation, the Palestinian official said that the occupation authorities confiscated during the period monitored by the report, “more than 618 dunums (the dunum equals a thousand square meters) of the lands of citizens under various names by issuing 36 hands to put the hand for military purposes and one order to acquire on the pretext of incision and expansion of streets.”

He continued, “In the first half of the year 2025, the Israeli occupation authorities issued 556 notification of the demolition of Palestinian facilities on the pretext of not licensing, of which 322 are inhabited houses, 18 unintelined houses, 151 facilities that are classified as agricultural and 97 classified as forming livelihoods and others.”

Most of the notifications in the governorates of Hebron focused on 145 notifications, and Ramallah had 131 notifications and an anxiety with 49 notifications and 46 notification.

As for the demolition operations, the occupation authorities carried out a total of 380 demolitions that resulted in the demolition of 588 facilities that were damaged by 843 people, including 411 children and 378 women.

Shaaban held the occupation army and the settlers responsible for cutting and destroying 12 thousand and 67 trees, of which 6144 olive trees are distributed by 5359 trees in Bethlehem Governorate, 2282 trees in Ramallah Governorate and 1774 trees in Nablus Governorate.

Shaaban said that “the occupying state has preceded over the past six months the time in every sense of the word in order to swoop on Palestinian geography, not only by establishing colonial foci or fattening colonies, nor by issuing military orders or by systematic assault on citizens in villages, towns, Bedouin communities, besieging and strangling them, but by the unprecedented campaign of legislation and government decisions that target the essence and status Palestinian geography.

An invitation to accountability and accountability

For his part, the assistant in the Foreign Ministry, Omar Awadallah, said that Israel violates all the rules of the international legal, noting that the political, legal and diplomatic movement to confront the genocide, starvation and displacement in Gaza accompanied by a movement to confront the war of the settlers over the Palestinian people in the West Bank.

Awadallah described what is going on as a “war to reduce demography and geography” in the West Bank, noting the use of reports of settlers’ violations in international forums, including the International Court of Justice.

He added that the Palestinian political, legal and diplomatic movement holds states responsibilities, including accountability, accountability and punishment for the colonial system that has not been held accountable since the Nakba.

He explained that the work that Palestinian diplomacy is doing is represented by its main axis of “accountability and accountability for Israel, drying the sources of support for the great colonial settlement project, and confronting the terrorists’ terrorism by imposing sanctions on them.”

He referred to a meeting on July 15 for the European Union to consider imposing additional sanctions on settlers, including ministers in the Israeli government, and reviewing the partnership agreement between the European Union and Israel.
