Assassinations

For his part, Israeli Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir, commander of the “Palestine” unit, described it as “one of the secret partners involved in planning and implementing the October 7 attack.”
The Israeli army also announced the assassination of Hanam Shahriari, commander of the Revolutionary Guards “Jerusalem” legion in a raid targeting (western Iran) on Friday.
The Iranian Mehr confirmed the killing of the nuclear scientist Ethar Tabtabaei and his wife in an Israeli attack on his home, without providing details about the timing of the attack and how it was implemented.
Tabtabaei, who completed his doctorate in nuclear engineering in 2007, worked in the Iranian nuclear industry for many years.
The Israeli Channel 12 talked about the killing of a prominent nuclear scientist on Friday evening during the attack on Iran, along with two other nuclearists, bringing the number of deaths from Iranian scientists to 17.
