Activists on social media circulated a video showing a British activist begging “Egyptian security personnel”, asking him to allow him to enter the Gaza Strip.
The activist appeared to be influenced, and his tears dominated him during his appeal to the security personnel opened the crossing, in light of the extermination war that the Palestinian people are exposed to, the systematic starvation campaign, and the deteriorating humanitarian conditions within the Strip.
According to the clip, the activist said, addressing the soldiers, “I think that the sons of the Arab nation have white hearts, and you are good men.”
Another activist who was standing beside him and speaking in Arabic wondered how children are killed in Gaza and are crushing, and you are the owners of magnanimity and courage?
The British activist spoke to the security personnel in a touching tone, saying, “For your Islam, and for love and humanity, stand with your peoples.”
He also tried to win their feelings by recalling the suffering of women in Gaza, who neither find food nor milk to breastfeed their children.
British activist crying and pleading with the Egyptian army:
“Please, for Islam for humanity, stand with your Muslim brothers and sisters. There are hungry children, please.”

On Friday, the Egyptian authorities detained or deported more foreign nationals who were seeking to join the global march to Gaza, hours after the arrest of the “steadfast” convoy at the doors of the Libyan city of Sirte on the pretext of waiting for security approval.
Hundreds of foreign activists arrived in Egypt this week to participate in the global march to Gaza, an initiative that aims to pressure Israel to end its blockade of the Palestinian sector.
In their statement, the organizers affirmed that they are a “peaceful movement and respect Egyptian laws”, calling on diplomatic missions to intervene in order to allow the march to continue.
