US President Donald Trump said on Monday that Iran is a difficult negotiator, noting that it is asking things that cannot be implemented in light of the continued talks on a nuclear agreement.
Trump added that he discussed with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu the Iranian file and other topics, noting that the contact was well.
“We are doing a lot of work on Iran at the moment … it is not easy … they are experienced negotiators,” Trump said during an economic event at the White House.
He said we are trying to reach an agreement with Iran so that no destruction and death will occur, noting that Iran is asking for unimaginable things, and that it seeks to fertilize uranium.
The Yisrael Hume website reported a call between Netanyahu and Trump, and the website quoted a White House official that it had focused on Iran.
The Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman, Ismail Baqi, said in a press conference that his country would present its proposal to the United States via the Sultanate of Oman as soon as it is completed.
