The Israeli Broadcasting Corporation announced that the army entered all infantry brigades and regular armored vehicles to the Gaza Strip, to implement the “Gideon vehicles” operation, and said that the paratrooper squad was the last thing that entered the Strip, as it completed its entry during the past 24 hours.
The authority said that the operation is focused at this stage on two main axes, northern Gaza Strip and Khan Yunis in the south, while the official Israeli Radio “Can” that the army is preparing to introduce new military brigades to Gaza in the coming days.
The army plan – according to Cannes channel – is to enter 5 military teams to completely control, in order to work and completely control the Gaza Strip and its center.
According to the Israeli Broadcasting Authority, the “Gideon” operation, which was announced by Israel in early May, aims at the end of its complete occupation of the Gaza Strip.
The teams participating in the process
A report – which was prepared by Walid Al -Attar to Al -Jazeera – indicated that 5 military teams participate in the operation, one of which is the 252nd Division, which operates in the center and northern Gaza Strip and is called the “Sinai League”, consisting of reserve forces, and was led by Brigadier -General Yehuda Fakh
This band includes several brigades, which are Tabor (454) fires, the Jerusalem Brigade (16) infantry, the Negev (12) infantry, and the Herel (10) armored vehicles, and the landslide brigade (14) armored vehicles.
There is also the 36th Division – which is called the “Burkan League” – has entered the Gaza Strip for the second time during the war last April, and expanded its operations in Rafah, under the leadership of Brigadier Moran Omer.
This band includes 5 brigades: Golani (1) pedestrians, brigade (7) armored vehicles, the Barak League (188) armored vehicles, Golan League (282) artillery, and the Ethati Brigade (6) pedestrians in the ranks of reserves.
As for the third division 143, or the “Gaza Band”, which was hit by a strong strike during the Al -Aqsa Flood attack, it is currently working in the Gaza cover, and it was able – according to the Israeli army – to surround the Tal Al -Sultan neighborhood in Rafah, and is currently led by Brak Hiram. It includes 3 brigades: Hughen (7643), Qatif (6643), and Brigade (261) pedestrian chain of transmission.
Among the teams participating in the operation is also the 98th Division, known as the “League of Fire”, which fought the fighting in Khan Yunis and carried out operations in the northern Gaza Strip, currently led by Gay Levy.
This band is formed from the brigades: Paratros (35), Uz (89), Dawood Slide League (214), the hemisphere (551), the Lati al -Shaman League (55), the Lapid Battalion (492), the Swan League (8237), and the unit of commando (5515).
Finally, the 16th Division, known as the “steel brigade”, which worked in Rafah after the northern Gaza Strip, then participates in the central areas, and led the military operations in Al -Shifa Hospital, and is currently led by Brigadier Sagiv Dahan.
5 brigades operate under the umbrella of this band, which are Al -Nahhal (993) infantry, my licks (84) infantry, the Iron butts (401) armored vehicles, the pillar of fire (215) artillery, and the Sharon League (5) infantry.
