The former Tunisian President, Dr. Al -Munsif Al Marzouki, writer and researcher in international affairs, Hossam Shaker, believes that the closing statement of the Arab summit was not at the level of what is happening in the Gaza Strip of the massacres and starvation, and in their speech to the “Beyond the News” program – the Arab governments and peoples with practical move.
He urged the closing statement of the Arab summit hosted by the Iraqi capital, Baghdad – today, Saturday, the international community to pressure in order to stop the bloodshed in a sector, and stressed the categorical rejection of all forms of displacement and Palestinian displacement, and stressed the need to introduce humanitarian aid to Gaza, and the importance of joint coordination to open all crossings and enable UN agencies to play their role, and stressed “the centrality of the Palestinian issue and the absolute support of the rights of the Palestinian people.”
Commenting on the closing statement, the former Tunisian president of the “Beyond the News” program said that the Arab countries are still demanding that they are begging, but they will not get anything, because the Israeli occupation does not care about the decisions of the Arab summits and makes fun of them, and he only wants the Arabs to surrender to his arrogance only.
He explained that Arab policies are still practicing what he called the ostrich policy that places its head in sand and does not want to see the reality, noting that the leaders should understand that Israel entered into a war of extermination against the Palestinians and against the nation and will continue the genocide, and after the displacement of the Palestinians in Gaza, it will try to displace the Palestinians in the West Bank.
Al -Marzouki was surprised that some Arab leaders “still believe in normalization with a suicide state that wants to expand and expand and started in a project to destroy the entire region”, and said, “We are now living in one of the most dangerous stages of the nation and this nation should notice that we are facing a fierce enemy that only wants surrender and displacement,” calling on the Arab states to “prepare for war.”
Al -Marzouki believes that what he described as the State of Israel will disappear either peaceful in the way of South Africa, or a war by current Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, but after the destruction of itself and the destruction of the region.
Unprepared
For his part, the writer and researcher in international affairs, Hossam Shaker, described the speech of the Arab leaders at the Arab summit as lukewarm, and said that the closing statement of the Baghdad Summit included very reduced expressions, despite some positive matters such as the refusal of the displacement.
Shaker asked about the reason for the Arabs reluctant to take practical steps such as reviewing the normalization agreements with the Israeli occupation, mobilizing the popular and official delegations at the crossings and allowing field movements to pressure the occupation.
Shaker believes that the Arab position expressed by the summit does not encourage the European position, which he said is growing in the last period and expresses his annoyance with the massacres committed by Israel in Gaza.
In his intervention at the Arab summit, Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez called for doubling the pressure on Israel to stop its attacks on Gaza, noting that His country is a draft resolution at the United Nations General Assembly calling for Israel to stop its attacks and allow the introduction of aid to Gaza.
On the position of the Arab peoples, Shaker asked about the absence of the voice of these peoples and the voice of unions and popular and political leaders, and said that field movements and demonstrations will lead to a change in the equation.
For his part, Al -Marzouki stressed the importance of the demonstrations, and said that the Arab peoples are oppressed and oppressed, and we fought poverty and humiliation, but they will explode sooner or later.
