Al -Jazeera Net Correspondents
Gaza- Informed sources in the Palestinian resistance factions have unanimously agreed that the communications -which were made by Hamas with the American administration and led to the agreement to release the Israeli dual national soldier, Alexander Alexander -comes within the steps set by the Palestinian resistance previously to reach an agreement that leads to a permanent ceasefire, open crossings, and the introduction of aid to the Gaza Strip.
The sources – which Al -Jazeera Net spoke – stated that there is a consensus between the Palestinian resistance factions that any negotiations on the file of the Israeli occupation prisoners must be serial and interrelated with what does not achieve what the occupation wants from a temporary ceasefire until the release of its soldiers and then return to the war again.
Dr. Khalil Al -Hayya, head of the Hamas delegation, announced yesterday evening, Hamas is ready to start immediately in extensive negotiations, and made serious efforts to reach a final agreement to stop the war and exchanging prisoners in an agreed manner, ensuring the continuation of calm and stability for many years, along with reconstruction and ending the siege.
A comprehensive negotiating framework
Informed sources in the Palestinian resistance factions view that the sudden understanding – which took place about the launch of Alexander – is an important fracture of the American silence barrier, and an indirect openness to a broader negotiating path, even if it begins with a humanitarian title.
And you see that the resistance factions are well aware that such a limited understanding is inseparable from its broader political and security context, and that it is often used to test the intentions and explore communication channels.
The sources indicate that any understanding about the launch of the American soldier comes within the framework of a comprehensive negotiation, which includes the ceasefire, the withdrawal of the Israeli army from Gaza, the start of reconstruction, and the opening of the crossings, leading to the file of the prisoners ’exchange in a manner that ensures the launch of the largest possible number of Palestinian prisoners.
In this context, the writer and political analyst Wissam Afifa said that “the resistance does not see the release of an American soldier in a final deal in itself, but rather an indication that Washington has begun to realize the necessity of dialogue with the real actors on the ground, the first of which is the resistance.”
Afifa did not rule out – in his speech to Al -Jazeera Net – that this understanding be an introduction to a broader negotiating path that includes larger issues such as: stopping the aggression, lifting the siege, and concluding a comprehensive exchange deal. But the matter depends on the willingness of the American administration to overcome its full bias to the Israeli side, and to deal with Gaza as a party that has rights, and not only as a humanitarian crisis.
He stressed that “the Palestinian resistance starts from a fixed equation, based on the fact that there is no free launch for any prisoner, whether American or Israeli, and that every file is related to its political and human price, and what happened with Alexander was not an exception to that, but rather subjected to accurate accounts in which more than one goal was achieved at the right moment.”
Positive, cautious
In the same context, the writer and political analyst Iyad Al -Qara believes that the resistance factions in Gaza view with a cautious positivity to the ongoing understanding of the Israeli -American soldier, as part of a broader negotiating movement, not a partial, stand -alone deal.
He explained in an interview with Al -Jazeera Net that “the current understanding is not just a goodwill gesture, but rather comes in an integrated context of current political communications through regional and international brokers, especially after important transformations occurred on the American position in recent weeks.”
Al -Qara pointed out that the resistance realizes that Washington has become tangible pressure on the occupation government, after deepening its internal dispute, especially between Trump and some of the Israeli decision -making circles, due to the former attempts of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to sabotage the American American path, and to obstruct American communication channels on Gaza.
He added that “the presence of the resistance in the field, and the continuation of its operations against the Israeli forces, contributes to disrupting any attempt to impose military facts, such as the Great Cars Plan, and indicates that the resistance is adhering to its principles, and will not make concessions outside an equal equation that achieves justice to our people and our prisoners.”
According to Al -Qara, Netanyahu’s attempt to promote that the soldier’s release without charge is a “misleading claim” aimed at using the event to record internal political gains, and to provide a false image of the extreme right.
He stressed that any step related to the prisoner file is discussed within integrated proposals, and not separately or subject to a media mood, and therefore “the resistance believes that any move regarding the launch of the prisoners, or ongoing understandings, will not be read in isolation from the broader address: ending the war, lifting the siege, and restoring national rights of the Palestinian people.”
