The United States gave Israel the opportunity to confirm its saying that more pressure on Hamas will produce an agreement that responds to the goals of the Israeli war, and on this basis, Israel violated the ceasefire agreement after the end of the first phase of it.
Israeli and security estimates indicated that achieving the goals of the war by eliminating Hamas needs years, and that the starvation weapon has exhausted its time, and the humanitarian catastrophe in the Gaza Strip has become pressure on the international community, and the United States embarrassed, and the matter increased the decline of the accumulation of Israeli statements issued by “morality” and “killing the Gazans of the child to the old sheikh”, and Israel appeared as a blind destruction machine, not It is careful with international and humanitarian laws, and it is proud of that, a speech accompanied by policies that threaten stability in the region and blow up the American vision on creating a stability environment, a ground for peace and investment, whistling conflicts, and reducing tension.
Netanyahu’s problem lies in that he does not have pressure tools for President Trump. In his various government states, Netanyahu lives three democratic heads; (Bill Clinton, Barack Obama, Joe Biden) and one Republican president is Trump.
When he collided with a democratic president, he was relying on the Republican Party of Congress to pressure the Democratic President, or to evade his obligations before him, this is what happened with Clinton in the Oslo agreement, with Obama in the 2015 nuclear agreement, and with Biden not to go to Biden’s proposal to stop the war in Gaza, which he approved with Trump’s coming.
Netanyahu will try to overcome this crisis by persuading the American administration to discuss the original Wittouf proposal, which stipulated the release of five Israeli prisoners in exchange for a truce, and the start of talking on the future of Gaza’s political future to win the time, only in this way- if he succeeds in it- he will be able to preserve his government without expanding the military operation that is enthusiastic about the right in general, and the extremist religious right in particular.
Other than this option, Netanyahu is facing two ways: either agreeing to stop the war and topple his government, or proceed with it and clash with Trump.
