Israel’s far -right government has approved a “plan” to cut itself and ethnically clean Gaza, analysts said in Tel Aviv Tribune.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced the plan, making him say that his goal is to dismantle Hamas and recover the 24 living captives taken in Israel on October 7, 2023.

By saying that the “powerful operation in Gaza” was necessary, he continued by stressing that “there will be a movement of the population to protect it”.

Here is what you need to know:

What is this “plan”?

Israel will expel hundreds of thousands of hungry Palestinians from northern Gaza and limit them to six camps.

He indicates that food will be provided to the Palestinians in these camps, and that it will allow aid groups and private security entrepreneurs to distribute it. Palestinians will be forced to move – or starve.

According to the Washington Post, some 5,000 to 6,000 families will be pushed into each camp. Each cleaning will send someone to Trek Miles to collect a weekly food package from what Jan Egeland from Norwegian Refugee Council called “concentration hubs”.

We do not know how the rest of the population – maybe some 1.5 million people – will eat.

Israel says that he will use facial recognition to identify people who collect food plots, to deny aid in “Hamas” – but Israel treats each man of the age of combat as a Hamas agent.

Private security companies in the United States would also preserve in designated areas.

The United Nations experts and agencies denounce the plan as impractical and inhuman.

What does this mean for the inhabitants of Gaza?

The genocidal war of Israel against Gaza continues and the Palestinians will continue to suffer.

Since Israel began his war in Gaza on October 7, 2023, he masked his mass evictions in what he claims to be human “advanced warnings” in which families have only hours to pack their property and flee to an area that Israel determines. Israel often bombes these safe areas anyway.

“If you look at this plan by the distribution of aid, it makes no sense,” said Diana Buttu, legal researcher and former advisor to the Palestine Liberation Organization.

“If you see it through a political project, which is ethnic cleaning and cantonization using food as a weapon of war, then this plan has meaning,” she said, adding that the “plan” is in accordance with Israel’s objective to achieve a genocide in Gaza.

What did the inhabitants of Gaza say?

That they are afraid and hungry, after two months of Israel, blocking all the aid and regular food shipments.

“If there is a plan to extend the war and reoccupy Gaza and repeat the trip, why were we authorized to return to the North?” Noor Ayash, 31, asks.

“What does Netanyahu want more?” We die from dying in every way. ”

Mahmoud Al-Nabahin, 77, who has been moved for 18 months, says that the threats of Netanyahu do not make sense.

He lost everything; Israel killed his wife and daughter in a raid months ago, and their house and their farm left.

“(This) only means our annihilation. We have lost all hope. Let him do what he wants, ”he said of his tent of Deir El-Balah.

“We have no weapons. We have civilians in the wind. People will refuse the trip, but will be forced by the army. ”

What does Israel want?

They want to finish their genocide under the guise of facilitating food aid and saving Israeli captives, Omar Rahman, an expert in Israel-Palestine for the Middle East Council on World Affairs, said.

“Israel telegraphed its true intentions from the start of this campaign: destroy Gaza and eliminate its population by both famine and mass murder,” he said.

The “plan” of Israel reports its intention of hunger from the Palestinians who resist being expelled from North Gaza, said Heidi Matthews, legal scholar at the University of York, Canada.

“It is inconceivable that the population can be sufficiently planned … while being crowded in southern Gaza,” she said.

“This indicates the genocidal intention of inflicting on the Palestinian population with the living conditions of Gaza calculated to cause its physical destruction in whole or in part.”

Can Israel even manage this?

Not clear.

Israel plans to hire two American private security companies, at hand solutions and UG solutions, to ensure safety and possibly help in food distribution.

The first is led by Phil Riley, a former CIA intelligence officer. The second is managed by Jameson Govoni, a former member of the Special Forces of the American Army.

These companies could give an Israeli plausible denial if abuses or atrocities occur, said Mairav Zonszein, an expert in Israel-Palestine for the International Crisis Group.

She added that Israel will also call thousands of reservists to maintain physical occupation in northern Gaza, despite many soldiers tired by war and financial problems.

“There is certainly a lower participation … Among the reservists that at the start of the war. But that does not mean that there is in fact a shortage of labor,” Zonszein told Tel Aviv Tribune.

In addition, she noted, despite the Israeli society which opposed the widening of the war against Gaza without recovering the captives, Netanyahu is no longer anxious to appease the far -right ministers of her coalition by fighting.

Netanyahu risks losing power and permanent trial of corruption accusations if the coalition collapses.

Are help agencies on board?

Not the UN agencies.

A United Nations spokesman said that Secretary General Antonio Guterres was “alarmed” by the plan of Israel and that she “will inevitably lead to countless more killed civilians and the additional destruction of Gaza”.

“Gaza is doing and must remain an integral part of a future Palestinian state,” said spokesperson Farhan Haq.

The UN also published a statement indicating that the Israel Plan for Gaza “contravenes fundamental humanitarian principles” and deepened suffering for civilians.

But the UN can conclude that it must participate in the regime of Israel for fear that even more Palestinians in Gaza die of hunger if they do not do so, said Buttu, putting the burden on Western states, which mainly finance the UN agencies, to support the position of the United Nations by sanctioning Israel.
