Military expert, Colonel Hatem Karim Al -Falahi, said that the expansion of the Israeli land operation in the Gaza Strip faces a number of challenges, especially at the level of the occupation army, and may lead to the waiver and sacrifice of the file of the detained prisoners.
Al -Falahi explained – in his analysis of the military scene of the island – that the expansion of the Israeli operation is related to the summons of the reserve forces, which means that it will take more time for these forces to complete.
The reserve forces summoning a major problem with the occupation army, as the attack means that the attack is widely broken, and this requires large forces, at a time when Israel suffers from a lack of a decrease in the level of combat power, according to the military expert.
The Israeli Army Chief of Staff, Eyal Zamir, announced yesterday, Sunday, the issuance of tens of thousands of summoning orders for reserve soldiers to expand the operation in Gaza, claiming that the intensification of pressure aims to “return the kidnappers (prisoners) and resolve the battle against Hamas.”
And the American Axius website quoted a senior Israeli official as saying that the mini cabinet (cabinet) unanimously agreed to expand the army’s operation in the Gaza Strip.
According to a previous Israeli announcement, “The 143rd Division is concentrated in the Tal Al -Sultan and Al -Shaboura neighborhoods in Rafah and the vicinity of Khan Yunis, while the 36th Division is spread in the Rafah area along the Morag axis, and the 252nd Division operates in Shujaiya and Beit Lahia in the north.”
Likewise, the occupation army is unable to confront resistance tactics, and there is a major Israeli failure at the level of tactics used against fighters or reduce losses.
According to Al -Falahi, there is a conflict at the level of the war goals, as the expansion of the operation requires increasing the military effort, and the sectors are offered to places that have not reached them before.
In this case, the matter requires the use of a large firepower – according to the military expert – “may lead to the killing of many Israeli prisoners unless the military leadership decides to give up this file.”
There are still 59 Israeli prisoners in the Gaza Strip, 24 of whom are alive – according to Israeli estimates – while more than 9,500 Palestinians are in the occupation prisons, who suffer torture, starvation and medical neglect, which killed many of them.
Regarding the operations that the Al -Qassam Brigades – the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) – announced their implementation, east of the city of Rafah, in the southern Gaza Strip, the military expert said that it constitutes a major security challenge for the Israeli forces that control and fully capture the region.
These operations prove the ability of the resistance to carry out complex and qualitative attacks in an environment that must be under complete control of the occupation army – according to Al -Falahi – which negatively affects the morale of the occupation soldiers, and raises the morale of the resistance fighters in that region.
He concluded that the operations were successive, and were carried out with accurate planning and knowledge of the methods of the occupation army and its tactics.
On Sunday, the Al -Qassam Brigades announced that they carried out qualitative operations against the occupation army, and were killed and wounded in Rafah in the south, hours after the Israeli army confessed to the killing of an officer and a soldier and the injury of 4 others in the bombing of Ain Nakfar in Rafah.
