Military expert, Major General Fayez Al -Duwairi, said that the operations of the Al -Qassam Brigades – the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) – represents a double Israeli failure, and indicates a different performance of resistance in the current stage of the previous stages of the war.
Al -Duwairi explained – in his analysis of the military scene in Gaza – that the first Israeli failure in the field of intelligence and reconnaissance, and the inability to locate the positions of the resistance.
As for the other failure, it has accompanied the Israeli occupation army since the attack of October 7, 2023, at the level of weak officers and young leaders in competence and managing the lower battle, in light of their occurrence with similar mistakes.
According to Al -Duwairi, the occupation army has taken a defensive situation that depends on monitoring operations, which prompts the Palestinian factions fighters to intervene against its forces with a specific military approach, the guerrilla war, under the title “The War of Husiness.”
He pointed out that the performance of the resistance is known in the military literature as the “desert fish” operations; That is, the appearance of the unexpected time and place, and the practice of intimidation and shock by pumping the largest possible losses, then retreat and withdrawal.
The military expert inferred resistance operations in the neighborhoods of Shujaiya and apples in Gaza City and Beit Hanoun in the north, in addition to what is happening in the southern Gaza Strip.
Qassam operations
The Al -Qassam Brigades announced today, Sunday, that it carried out yesterday, Saturday, simultaneous qualitative operations against the occupation army, and killed and wounded in Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip, hours after the Israeli army recognized the killing of an officer and a soldier and the injury of 4 others in the bombing of Ain Nakfar in Rafah.
The Al -Qassam Brigades said – in a statement via the Telegram application – that its fighters carried out a complex ambush yesterday in Al -Geneina neighborhood, east of the city of Rafah, as they lured an Israeli engineering force to the eye of a booby -trapped tunnel, noting that the operation began to engage with members of the force and finish an individual of them from the distance zero.
The statement added that, as soon as a number of soldiers advanced to the tunnel’s eye, they were detonated in them and were killed and wounded, then the Qassam fighters advanced and targeted two Israeli tanks with “Yassin 105” anti -armor shells.
He continued that Al -Qassam fighters monitored the recovery of the dead and evacuated the wounded from the place in the Al -Zahra mosque area in Al -Genaina neighborhood in Rafah.
In the same area, the Al -Qassam Brigades announced the bombing of a booby -trapped house in an Israeli force, who also worked on Saturday, and its members were killed and wounded.
In a separate operation in the Al -Geneina neighborhood in Rafah as well, the battalions announced the bombing of an anti -personnel package in an Israeli force from 6 soldiers and their deaths between the dead and wounded.
Expecting width expected
He expressed his conviction that the occupation army will expand its ground operation in the Gaza Strip, but stressed that the nature of expansion is unknown, noting the forced displacement operations in light of an Israeli talk about the occupation’s equipment in Rafah to receive the displaced.
According to the military expert, the upcoming Israeli maneuver may take the form of penetration in depth and adopt the burned land policy for the displacement of the population, stressing that it is difficult to achieve.
He reaffirmed that the fear is not on the resistance, but for the civilians of Gaza, who will pay a heavy price in the coming period, suggesting that the occupation committed a series of bloody massacres against them that is currently committed.
The Israeli Army Chief of Staff, Eyal Zamir, announced today, Sunday, the issuance of tens of thousands of summoning orders for reserve soldiers to expand the operation in Gaza, claiming that the intensification of pressure aims to “return the kidnappers (prisoners) and resolve the battle against Hamas.”
The Palestinian resistance operations have recently escalated, and the Israeli army has admitted that 6 soldiers have been killed since the aggression on Gaza resumed on March 18.
