An Israeli air raid has left the last non -operational northern functional hospital, forcing seriously ill patients on the street.
On Sunday, the latest attack on the Arab hospital in Al-Ahli comes when Israel seized a corridor in the south of the Palestinian territory beaten by the war and said that he planned to extend his military offensive after having broken a ceasefire in March.
The Civil Defense of Gaza said that the Israeli Air Force had targeted a hospital building on Sunday the early hours.
The Israeli army and the Shin Bet agency said, without providing evidence, having targeted a “command and control complex” in Hamas in the hospital.
Gaza health establishments have been targeted on several occasions, notably with bombs of 2,000 pounds made in the United States.
Al-Ahli Hospital has been at least 36 hospitals that have been bombed and burned by the Israeli army since the start of the war.
The targeting of health establishments, medical staff and patients is considered a war crime under the Geneva Convention in 1949.

October 17, 2023
Hundreds of people reflecting in the parking lot of the Al-Ahli hospital were killed in an Israeli attack, according to Palestinian health officials. In the days preceding the incident, the hospital director would have received warnings from Israel. Israel has attributed the explosion in the installation to a failed rocket launched by the Palestinian Islamic jihad, an allegation refused by the armed group.

An ambulance convoy was destroyed by an Israeli air attack outside the Al-Shifa hospital, causing many Palestinian deaths.
November 21, 2023
An aerial raid at Al-Awda hospital killed Dr. Mahmoud Abu Nujaila and Dr Ahmad al-Sahar of Doctors Without Borders (MSF), and another doctor, Ziad al-Tatari.
January 22, 2024
Several people have been killed while they house about 150 meters (around 500 feet) from the entrance to Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis. The evacuated shelters in the region suffered from the fighting and forced evacuation orders.

The Israeli army arrested Dr. Hussam Abu Safia, director of Kamal Adwan hospital, after refusing to follow the orders to abandon one of the last functional hospitals in northern Gaza. His arrest occurred one day after the soldiers killed around 20 Palestinians and apprehended around 240 in a raid inside the hospital, which was one of the “largest operations” carried out on the territory until that time.
November 2023
Israeli forces besieged the Indonesian Beit Lahiya hospital for days. Israeli forces have left the ruined hospital, with charred and decomposed bodies accumulating in the corners.
January 4, 2025
The Indonesian Hospital of North Gaza was put out of service after repeated attacks on Israeli forces, according to the Gaza Ministry of Health.
March 23, 2025
Israeli forces have killed 15 Palestinian doctors, working for Palestine Red Crescent Society, who died during a rescue mission in the Tal As-Sultan district of Rafah. A video recovered from the mobile phone of one of the Palestinian physicians killed showed an involvement of Israeli forces, triggering generalized indignation.
