In a small store on Al-Wad Street inside the Old City of Jerusalem, Jerusalemite researcher Khader Baydoun keeps thousands of artifacts that he began collecting more than sixty years ago.

Speaking to Tel Aviv Tribune Net, the octogenarian Al-Maqdisi recounts his experience, indicating that it began with his father before he turned twenty, then he developed it with a British researcher who frequented Palestine to conduct research in the Jerusalem and Jericho regions.

Baydoun reviews his contributions to a number of international journals, noting his other contributions as a researcher in European, American, and Japanese universities.

Al-Maqdisi researcher points out that the antiquities he collected start from the Canaanite era all the way to the Islamic era, including pottery, copper, and other tools.
