Medical sources reported to Tel Aviv Tribune that 28 Palestinians were killed in Israeli raids on several areas in Gaza since dawn on Wednesday, while the Ministry of Health in Gaza once again warned of a real catastrophe ravaging hospitals in the besieged Palestinian Strip.

Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent indicated that the bodies of 4 martyrs, including an infant, were recovered following an Israeli bombing of a house in the Bureij refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip, noting that others were injured in that bombing.

A Palestinian was also martyred and a number of others were injured as a result of an Israeli bombing that targeted a house in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood, west of Gaza City, while heavy Israeli raids targeted the vicinity of Kamal Adwan Hospital in the northern Gaza Strip.

Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent reported earlier that five Palestinians were martyred and several others were injured in an Israeli raid on a house in the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood, south of Gaza City.

A Palestinian woman was also martyred and others were injured as a result of an Israeli air strike on a tent housing displaced people in the Al-Mawasi area, west of Khan Yunis.

“A real disaster”

For its part, the Ministry of Health in Gaza once again warned of a real catastrophe ravaging hospitals, oxygen stations, refrigerators for storing medicines, and incubators in all health facilities remaining operational in the Strip, due to the exhaustion of fuel.

The director of field hospitals in Gaza told Tel Aviv Tribune that the Israeli occupation seeks to eliminate the health system in the northern and southern regions of the Strip.

He added that the Israeli army forces aid convoys to take roads intercepted by thieves, in addition to bombing civilians in areas it considers safe.

The World Health Organization confirmed – a week ago – that the systematic dismantling of the health system in the Gaza Strip constitutes a death sentence for tens of thousands of Palestinians in need of health care.

The UN organization explained that the Israeli raid on Kamal Adwan Hospital and burning parts of it led to the last major health facility in the northern Gaza Strip being out of service, in light of the occupation targeting hospitals, especially in the northern Gaza Strip.

On October 6, 2024, the Israeli army began a massive invasion, not the first since the beginning of the war of genocide, in the northern Gaza Strip. The occupation’s total human losses were estimated at 43 officers and soldiers killed – according to Israeli Army Radio – while it left the Palestinian side with more than 4,000 martyrs and missing persons, as well as 12,000 wounded, in addition to the widespread destruction of residential buildings and facilities, especially hospitals.

Since October 7, 2023, Israel – with American military support and in full view of the whole world – has been waging a devastating war on Gaza that has resulted in more than 155,000 Palestinian martyrs and wounded, most of them children and women, and more than 11,000 missing persons, amid massive destruction and worsening famine. .
