The IDF says it targeted Hamas fighters in the Gaza Strip this Sunday evening.

The Hamas government’s Health Ministry estimates the number of deaths at several dozen, including at least eight in al-Mawazi, in the south of the Gaza Strip.

A tent camp was hit, children were among the victims and the IDF accused Hamas of using civilians as human shields.

The violence continues at a time when Hamas considers “closer than ever“negotiations towards a truce agreement in the war between Israel and the terrorist group.

Around a hundred hostages are still captive in the Gaza Stripa third of them are considered dead.

According to the Palestinian Ministry of Health, controlled by Hamas, the Israeli offensive in the Gaza Strip has left 45,200 dead.

At the same time, in the West Bank, a second police officer was killed this Monday in inter-Palestinian violence.

According to the Palestinian Authority, the policeman was killed in clashes with armed men in Jenin.

The city of Jenin is the stronghold of several armed factions opposed to the Palestinian Authority.

These militant groups recently called a general strike to express their opposition and denounce the Palestinian Authority’s desire to disarm them.
