The Israeli army carried out intense bombardment on several areas in Gaza at dawn on Thursday and last night, while battles raged in the northern Gaza Strip.

The bombing included air strikes, artillery shelling, and shooting from gunboats, hours after two massacres committed by the occupation forces in the Mawasi Khan Yunis area and in the Al-Nafaq area in central Gaza City.

Palestinian sources said that Israeli warplanes launched raids on the northern Gaza Strip at dawn today.

In parallel, Israeli vehicles opened fire in Jabalia camp, while artillery shelled the city of Beit Lahia.

Bombing operations on the northern Gaza Strip are frequent, while the Israeli army has continued for two months a massive military operation that has resulted in the death of more than 3,000 Palestinians and the injury and displacement of thousands of others.

Palestinian activists posted on social media platforms a video clip of displaced people who were injured by Israeli occupation army bullets while they were forced to leave the northern Gaza Strip towards Gaza City.

Bombing and blowing up buildings

Also in developments in the aggression, Al-Aqsa satellite channel reported that Israeli warplanes launched a violent raid on Gaza City before dawn today.

It also reported that the occupation forces bombed the southern outskirts of the Al-Sabra and Tal Al-Hawa neighborhoods, south of Gaza City.

In the middle of the Gaza Strip, Israeli artillery bombed areas north of the Nuseirat camp.

In another development, the Israeli army blew up residential buildings early today in the vicinity of what is known as the Netzarim axis, which separates the central and southern Gaza Strip from its north.

Meanwhile, the Civil Defense in the Gaza Strip announced that its crews last night recovered surviving children and the bodies of 10 martyrs from homes that were subjected to Israeli bombing in the tunnel area in Gaza City.

The bombing of the tunnel area resulted in a massacre that claimed the lives of 25 martyrs, including children and women.

The Civil Defense also said that its crews recovered 3 martyrs and injured people from a house targeted by the occupation in the Nuseirat camp.

In the south of the Gaza Strip, Israeli gunboats opened fire last night off the sea coast of the city of Khan Yunis, while other areas near Medea were subjected to heavy bombardment, according to activists.

The bombing came hours after the massacre committed by the occupation forces against displaced people in Mawasi Khan Yunis, which resulted in about 20 martyrs, most of them children and women.

The bombing targeted the tents of displaced people in this area, which the occupation claims is “humanitarian,” which led to a number of displaced people being burned alive, according to Palestinian sources.

Battles of the North

In military developments, northern Gaza is witnessing an escalation of battles between the Palestinian resistance and the occupation forces that have penetrated the region since the fifth of last October.

For its part, the Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), announced yesterday, Wednesday, that its fighters in the center of Jabalia camp were able to snipe and kill two Israeli soldiers, in addition to targeting an Israeli troop carrier with an anti-armor shell.

In both Jabalia and Beit Lahia, the brigades announced that they had targeted 3 Israeli tanks with “Al-Yassin 105” shells and strobe charges.

Tel Aviv Tribune obtained pictures of the battles between the Al-Qassam Brigades and the Israeli army east of the Jabalia camp.

In turn, the Al-Quds Brigades – the military wing of the Islamic Jihad movement – announced that its fighters east of Gaza City were able to snipe an Israeli soldier near the Taqa area.

The brigades said that its fighters bombed with mortar shells a gathering of occupation soldiers on the supply line in the Netzarim axis.

In the east of the city of Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip, the Al-Quds Brigades announced that they had bombed concentrations of occupation soldiers and vehicles in the Al-Geneina neighborhood with mortar shells.
