The Israeli army revealed the killing of 4 soldiers, including an officer, in Jabalia in the northern Gaza Strip, which has been subjected to a campaign of genocide and ethnic cleansing for about a month, while 115 Palestinians were martyred in Israeli raids in different areas of the Strip.

The Israeli army said that Officer Yehonatan Johnny Keren (22 years old), Sergeants Nissim Meital (20 years old), Aviv Gilboa (21 years old), and Naor Haimov (22 years old), all from Unit (888), were killed in a battle in the northern Gaza Strip. .

The Israeli army indicated, in a statement, that an officer from the same unit was also seriously wounded in the same battle.

Israeli media quoted the army as confirming that the four soldiers were killed as a result of an explosive device exploding inside a building in Jabalia in the northern Gaza Strip.

All the dead and wounded belonged to a commando unit, known as the “Multi-Dimensional Unit,” or the “Ghost Unit,” which is an elite unit in the Israeli army that operates in difficult environments and on all combat fronts.

According to Israeli army data, the number of soldiers killed since the beginning of the war on October 7, 2023 has risen to 776, including 365 in ground battles that began on the 27th of the same month.

This number does not include civilians, police officers, and the Shin Bet security service who have been killed since the beginning of the war.

It is noteworthy that the occupation army has been continuing for 25 days a military campaign described as a campaign of extermination and mass displacement of the residents of the northern Gaza Strip, specifically Jabalia and Beit Lahia, as it continues to bomb civilians, blow up homes, and prevent the entry of aid, food, water, medicine, and fuel, resulting in the death of more than a thousand and the injury of Thousands wounded, and dozens missing.

Other resistance operations

The Al-Nasser Salah al-Din Brigades broadcast images that they said were of targeting the occupation’s command and control site in Juhr al-Dik in the central Gaza Strip with mortar shells, in conjunction with the Al-Quds Brigades.

The Al-Qassam Brigades also broadcast pictures of its destruction of a “Merkava” tank with a “Shawaz” device east of Jabalia, north of the Gaza Strip.

The Israeli occupation army announced the death of a company commander in the 52nd Battalion as a result of wounds he sustained 10 days ago in battles in the northern Gaza Strip.

115 martyrs in Israeli raids

On the other hand, medical sources told Tel Aviv Tribune that 115 martyrs were killed due to Israeli raids on the Gaza Strip since dawn today, including 109 in the northern Gaza Strip.

The Gaza Ministry of Health said that the number of victims of the Israeli aggression has risen to 43,61 martyrs and 101,223 injured since October 7, 2023.

The Israeli occupation forces committed a new massacre in Lahia in the northern Gaza Strip, and targeted various locations in the Strip with intense raids.

The director of government information in Gaza confirmed to Tel Aviv Tribune that 93 Palestinians were killed and about 40 missing as a result of an Israeli bombing that targeted a five-story house for the Abu Nasr family in the Beit Lahia project in the northern Gaza Strip on Tuesday morning.

Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent explained that among the martyrs were at least 25 children.

Eyewitnesses told Anadolu Agency that dozens of wounded were still under the rubble of the destroyed building, where there were about 100 displaced Palestinians, including women and children.

Hossam Abu Safiya, director of Kamal Adwan Hospital, confirmed that the occupation army was bombing the hospital’s surroundings while treating those injured in the massacre. He explained to Tel Aviv Tribune that the hospital was unable to treat dozens of injured people due to lack of capabilities, which caused the death of most of the injured.

In turn, the director of field hospitals in Gaza, Marwan Al-Hams, appealed to the world to send specialized medical teams to the northern Gaza Strip and secure and protect the hospitals. He said that Kamal Adwan Hospital is in urgent need of medical teams to treat the wounded.

The Hamas movement considered that “the horrific massacre in the Beit Lahia project is confirmation of the Zionist plans of extermination and displacement against our people amid Arab and international silence.”
