News continues to flow about a ramming attack that occurred in Israel today, Saturday, which is the most dangerous of its kind since October 7, 2023, given its location and the losses it caused.

It was reported that a truck crashed into a bus stop near Glilot, north of Tel Aviv.

Hebrew reports quoted the Shin Bet as the perpetrator of the attack, Rami Natour, a Palestinian Arab resident of Qalanswa.

Journalist Elias Karam reported from the Israeli Channel 12 that the perpetrator was a young Palestinian from the city of Qalansuwa, located within the Green Line, and held the blue identity card provided by the Israeli authorities to the Palestinians of 1948.

Israeli police said that civilians opened fire on the truck driver.

Also, Israeli Army Radio reported that the perpetrator of the ramming attack was shot and subsequently killed.

5- How did the Palestinians react to the incident?

Hamas said, “The heroic ramming operation near the Mossad headquarters is a natural response to the crimes of the Zionist occupation against our Palestinian people.”

The movement added that it blesses the operation, “which confirms that our brave people continue to challenge the Zionist killing and terror machine.”

The Islamic Jihad movement also said that it blesses “the heroic Tel Aviv operation that targeted soldiers and officers from the Military Intelligence Unit.”

The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine praised “the heroic operation that targeted the occupation forces near the Glilot military base.”

Hezbollah said in a statement, “We congratulate our Palestinian people and the Palestinian resistance movements for the heroic Tel Aviv operation against the occupation soldiers.”

6- What are the most prominent Israeli reactions?

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that he is awaiting a final clarification of the incident.

As for the Israeli Minister of National Security, Itamar Ben Gvir, he praised the Israelis’ shooting of the attacker, and said, “Weapons have proven once again that they save lives, and my policy is correct.”

Ben Gvir called on the Prime Minister and all members of the ruling coalition to “support the law to deport families of terrorists.”
