3 injuries in Hebron and raids to perform Talmudic rituals in Nablus and Jericho | news

Three Palestinians – including two children – were injured by Israeli occupation bullets north of Hebron in the West Bank. The Palestinian Red Crescent Society also said that its crews in Hebron dealt with two live bullet wounds to two children – aged 15 years – in Halhul, and indicated that they were transferred to the hospital.

Intrusions and Talmudic prayers

At dawn on Wednesday, settlers stormed the “Joseph’s Tomb” shrine in the city of Nablus, north of the occupied West Bank, and began performing religious rituals under the protection of the occupation army.

Confrontations broke out between Palestinian youths and an Israeli army force after a large force of occupation soldiers stormed the eastern area of ​​Nablus to secure the entry of settlers to “Joseph’s Tomb,” according to eyewitnesses.

Witnesses reported – in an interview with Anadolu Agency – that dozens of Palestinians threw stones at the occupation forces, while the latter used live bullets and tear gas bombs against them. The occupation army also raided a number of eastern Nablus neighborhoods and searched homes before withdrawing.

There is a “Joseph’s Tomb” on the eastern side of Nablus, which is under Palestinian control. The Jews have considered it a holy shrine since Israel’s occupation of the West Bank in 1967, as they believe it contains the remains of the Prophet Joseph, peace be upon him. However, archaeologists have denied that story, stressing that the age of the shrine does not exceed A few centuries ago, it was the shrine of a Muslim sheikh named Youssef Dweikat.

On the same level, this morning, approximately 50 settlers, protected by occupation soldiers, stormed the historic Beit Shahwan, north of the city of Jericho, adjacent to the Ain al-Sultat camp, and held Talmudic prayers there.

Eyewitnesses said that the occupation soldiers had previously chased school students and seized their school bags and bicycles. Later, the students – all of whom were under the age of ten – were able to escape from the occupation soldiers.

In addition to Nablus and Jericho, the occupation army carried out incursions into other governorates in the West Bank, and sources told Tel Aviv Tribune that confrontations broke out with occupation soldiers after they stormed the town of Tammoun, south of the city of Tubas, in the north of the West Bank, and the Al-Far’a camp near Tubas. The occupation army’s vehicles also stormed the city of Qalqilya and the towns of Silwad and Medea, east of the city. Ramallah, and many governorates.

On a daily basis, the Israeli army storms cities and towns in the West Bank in order to search for wanted persons.
