The Israeli occupation forces launched air strikes and artillery shelling targeting areas in the Gaza Strip since dawn on Friday, resulting in martyrs and injuries, while the occupation army announced the push for military reinforcements to expand its operations in the besieged Jabalia for the fourteenth day in a row.

Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent said that a Palestinian citizen was martyred as a result of an Israeli bombing that targeted a gathering of citizens in the vicinity of Jabalia al-Balad, north of the Gaza Strip.

Medical sources reported to Tel Aviv Tribune that the bodies of two martyrs were recovered from Jabalia al-Balad, north of the Gaza Strip, following Israeli bombing that targeted the area.

Sources in the Palestinian Civil Defense said that dozens of martyrs who were killed by the Israeli army in Jabalia are still under the rubble of their destroyed homes and on the roads, and that the occupation forces are preventing their recovery.

The Ministry of Health in Gaza said that the Israeli occupation forces committed a massacre in the Jabalia camp yesterday, Thursday. A medical source told Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent that 25 people were martyred, and more than 150 were injured, in an Israeli bombing that targeted the “Abu Hussein School”, which houses displaced people in the middle of the Jabalia camp.

In the center and east of the Gaza Strip, an Tel Aviv Tribune correspondent said that Israeli artillery shelling targeted the Al-Zaytoun and Tal Al-Hawa neighborhoods in Gaza City in the central Gaza Strip.

Palestinian sources reported that Israeli occupation army vehicles opened fire towards the eastern areas of the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood, southeast of Gaza City.

Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent also reported that a Palestinian was martyred and others injured in an Israeli artillery shelling on the Al-Sabra neighborhood, south of Gaza City.

In the south, an Tel Aviv Tribune correspondent said that a Palestinian citizen was martyred when a drone targeted citizens east of the city of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip.

Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent also said that the occupation army launched two raids and fired heavy fire in the coastal area of Al-Mawasi, west of the city of Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip.

Siege and military reinforcements

Meanwhile, the Israeli occupation army announced the push of military reinforcements to the north of the besieged Gaza Strip, and said that the Givati Brigade had joined the 162nd Division as part of the expansion of the military operation in Jabalia, north of the Gaza Strip.

Anatolia Agency said that the Israeli army continues its tight siege on the northern Gaza Strip for the fourteenth day in a row, and is exacerbating the famine in the region by depriving 200,000 Palestinians in Jabalia of water and food.

The Israeli army’s expansion of its military operations in Jabalia comes despite international calls to stop the genocide it is carrying out in the northern Gaza Strip.

Since the sixth of this October, the Israeli army has begun a new military operation in the northern Gaza Strip governorate, and imposed its siege on the Jabalia area, preventing residents from fleeing to neighboring Gaza City, and ordering them to flee only via Salah al-Din Street, which extends along the eastern Gaza Strip from its north to South of it.

This is the third ground operation carried out by the Israeli army in Jabalia camp since the beginning of the genocidal war on Gaza on October 7, 2023.

For its part, the World Health Organization said that Israel has prevented the entry of medical specialists seeking to support clinics in the Gaza Strip, noting that 8 organizations and more than 50 specialized employees have been affected since last August by the Israeli siege.

According to the organization, the specialists were scheduled to provide vital support for various medical services, in addition to psychological support for healthcare workers in facilities such as the Gaza European Hospital and Nasser Hospital.
