In this context, the Commissioner-General of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), Philippe Lazzarini, said yesterday, Thursday, that Israel has been waging a silent war in the West Bank since October 7, 2023, stressing that this war resulted in the deaths of more than 700 people.
In conjunction with the war of extermination launched by Tel Aviv against the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, the Israeli army expanded its operations, and settlers escalated their attacks in the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, which resulted in a total of 756 Palestinians being martyred and about 6,250 injured.
