On Thursday, 8 Palestinians were injured in a continuing wave of attacks carried out by the Israeli occupation army and settlers in various areas of the occupied West Bank.

In the village of Beit Furik, east of the city of Nablus, 5 Palestinians were injured by Israeli army gunfire, during confrontations with the Palestinians after they stormed the village.

The Palestinian Red Crescent said, in a statement, that its crews in Nablus dealt with 5 injuries from live bullets, following the occupation army’s storming of Beit Furik, and they were transferred to the hospital.

Palestinians circulated a video clip showing Israeli soldiers abusing a Palestinian child in the village. The video clip shows 3 Israeli soldiers beating a child lying on the ground.

In Al-Arroub camp, north of Hebron, two children were injured by Israeli army gunfire during confrontations that took place in the camp.

The official Palestinian News Agency (Wafa) reported that the occupation forces stormed the camp and fired live bullets at the citizens, wounding two children, one of whom was seriously injured in the head, and they were transferred to Al-Ahli Hospital in Hebron.

In the village of Yasuf, east of the city of Salfit, a Palestinian was injured by a stone in the head, as a result of settlers attacking olive pickers in the village.

Wael Abu Madi, head of the Yasuf Village Council, said that settlers from the Tafuah settlement attacked farmers during the olive harvest, which led to a farmer being hit in the head with a stone.

Abu Madi pointed out the repeated attacks by settlers on farmers during the olive harvest season, under the protection of the Israeli army.

He pointed out that the settlers cut off the electricity supply from Yasuf, after acts of sabotage on the main lines, while the specialized teams are working to repair them.

Israeli settlers usually launch attacks on Palestinian farmers in their fields, and attacks increase with the olive harvest season during the months of October and November each year.

In conjunction with the war of extermination launched by Tel Aviv against the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, the Israeli army expanded its operations, and settlers escalated their attacks in the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, which resulted in a total of 756 Palestinians being martyred and about 6,250 injured.
