On Thursday, the Israeli occupation army continued its bombardment of northern Gaza, amid the inability of civil defense crews to recover the bodies of the martyrs in Jabalia and warnings of a famine affecting 200,000 people.
The Civil Defense in Gaza announced its inability to recover dozens of martyrs in Jabalia, and added, “Jabalia is being annihilated and subjected to systematic death.”
The Civil Defense said that 200,000 Palestinians are without food, drink or medicine for the 12th day in a row in Jabalia camp.
He recalled that “for the 12th day in a row, the Israeli army is bombing and blowing up buildings and infrastructure in the northern Gaza Strip governorate.”
This comes in light of the ethnic cleansing process carried out by the Israeli army as part of the war of extermination that began on October 7, 2023.
Earlier, eyewitnesses reported to Anadolu Agency that the Israeli army carried out burning and blowing up buildings and homes of Palestinian citizens in the Jabalia camp in the northern Gaza Strip.
Witnesses indicated that violent explosions were heard from Jabalia camp, resulting from the Israeli army’s bombing operations of Palestinian homes, buildings, and property.
Third ground operation
Since October 6, the Israeli army has begun a new military operation in the northern Gaza Strip governorate, and imposed its siege on the Jabalia area, preventing residents from displacing to neighboring Gaza City, and ordering them to displace only via Salah al-Din Street, which extends along the eastern Gaza Strip from its north to its south. .
This is the third ground operation carried out by the Israeli army in Jabalia camp since the beginning of the genocidal war on Gaza on October 7, 2023.
In the same context, Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent said that Israeli artillery fired shells northwest of Nuseirat in the central Gaza Strip.
On the other hand, the Al-Qassam Brigades said that they caused deaths and injuries among the ranks of the occupation forces by detonating explosive devices west of the city of Jabalia Al-Balad.
It also announced the destruction of two military bulldozers west of Jabalia and east of the city of Rafah.
As for the Al-Quds Brigades, they confirmed that 3 Merkava tanks were targeted in an ambush with Al-Qassam in the middle of the Jabalia camp.
For its part, the Israeli army announced the interception of a missile fired towards the Gaza Strip. He said that he is continuing his military operation in Jabalia.
With American support, the ongoing Israeli genocidal war in Gaza since October 7 has left more than 141,000 dead and wounded, and more than 10,000 missing, amid massive destruction and famine that killed dozens of children and the elderly.
