Medical sources told Tel Aviv Tribune that 36 Palestinian citizens were martyred in Israeli raids on Gaza since dawn on Saturday, while the fighting fronts – especially the northern Gaza Strip, which is witnessing an ongoing siege for the ninth day in a row – are witnessing the resistance factions intensifying their operations and targeting the invading occupation forces.

Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent reported that 8 Palestinians were martyred and others were injured in an Israeli bombing that targeted a house in the middle of the Jabalia refugee camp, north of the Gaza Strip.

The reporter added that the bombing caused widespread destruction to civilian property, while the wounded and the bodies of the martyrs were transported to Kamal Adwan Hospital in Gaza City.

He also indicated that 6 injured people arrived at Al-Baptist Hospital in Gaza City, most of them children, following an Israeli raid that targeted a house on Al-Mashahara Street in the Al-Tuffah neighborhood, east of the city.

The correspondent had reported – earlier – that two citizens were martyred and others were injured in an Israeli bombing that targeted a house in the Bureij refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip.

Two Israeli raids also targeted the Al-Mawasi area, west of Rafah, in the south of the Gaza Strip.

Resistance operations

In conjunction with the imposition of the siege on the northern Gaza Strip, the fighting fronts are witnessing the resistance factions intensifying their operations and targeting the occupation forces.

The Al-Qassam Brigades – the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) – announced that its fighters detonated a high-explosive device against an Israeli foot force of 15 soldiers while they were trying to storm a house near the communications junction west of the Jabalia camp, leaving them dead and wounded.

The Brigades also announced that their fighters targeted a Merkava tank with an “Al-Yassin 105” shell in the “Al-Tawam” area, north of Gaza.

Al-Qassam also targeted, in the north of the Gaza Strip, a troop carrier with an “Al-Yassin 105” shell near Al-Khazindar station.

In the Al-Faluga cemetery in Jabalia, Al-Qassam announced that it had targeted a Merkava tank with an “Al-Yassin 105” shell, and also said that it had bombed Israeli army crowds east of the camp.

In the south of the Gaza Strip, the Al-Qassam Brigades announced that they had targeted two Merkava tanks and a D-9 military bulldozer with “Al-Yassin 105” shells in the Al-Jeneina neighborhood, east of the city of Rafah. The brigades said that their fighters had spotted Israeli evacuation helicopters landing.

In the Al-Rayyan area, east of Rafah, Al-Qassam broadcast images of its fighters detonating a booby-trapped tunnel opening in an Israeli engineering force.

Destruction of mechanisms

The Al-Quds Brigades – the military wing of the Islamic Jihad Movement – announced that its fighters destroyed an Israeli troop carrier penetrating the Al-Tawam Junction, west of the northern Gaza Strip, by detonating a “Piercing” type device they had planted in advance.

Al-Saraya also said that its fighters blew up an Israeli military vehicle penetrating the Al-Saftawi area in the northern Gaza Strip with a high-explosive barrel bomb of the “Thaqib” type.

It is noteworthy that for more than a year, Israel has continued its aggression and massacres against civilians in the Gaza Strip, ignoring the UN Security Council resolution to end the war immediately, and the orders of the International Court of Justice to take measures to prevent acts of genocide and improve the catastrophic humanitarian situation in the besieged Strip.

The Israeli aggression created an unprecedented humanitarian and health crisis. It also caused the death of 42,175 Palestinians and the injury of 98,336, most of them women and children, according to data from the Ministry of Health in Gaza.
