Dozens of martyrs in Gaza and battles continue in the northern Gaza Strip news

41 Palestinians were martyred in Israeli raids on various areas of the Gaza Strip in the past 24 hours, most of them in Jabalia. While battles continued in the north of the Strip, clashes broke out between resistance fighters and occupation forces in the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood, southeast of Gaza City.

Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent reported that a number of martyrs and wounded were killed as a result of an Israeli raid that targeted a residential square in Jabalia in the northern Gaza Strip, which is witnessing a ground attack, acts of genocide and ethnic cleansing for the seventh day in a row. The correspondent also reported that a number of martyrs and wounded fell as a result of an Israeli raid that targeted a house in the vicinity of Al-Omari Mosque in Jabalia Al-Balad.

Local Palestinian sources reported that the Israeli occupation army blew up residential buildings in the Jabalia camp at dawn today.

Local Palestinian platforms reported that the occupation army carried out “massive” bombings of citizens’ homes in the Al-Saftawi and Al-Tawam neighborhoods in northern Gaza.

For its part, local Palestinian sources reported that violent shelling and explosions were heard along Al-Sikka Street in the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood, southeast of Gaza City, coinciding with clashes and shooting with invading Israeli vehicles.

Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent said that Israeli marches opened fire at dawn today in the Al-Saftawi area, northwest of Gaza City.

The National Arab Baptist Hospital in Gaza City called on citizens to quickly donate blood to save the lives of dozens of wounded people arriving to it due to the ongoing Israeli raids on the northern Gaza Strip. The acting director of the hospital, Dr. Fadel Naeem, told Tel Aviv Tribune that a large number of the wounded who arrived at the hospital were in critical condition and needed larger amounts of blood.

In a related context, the Director of Civil Defense in the northern Gaza Strip, Colonel Ahmed Kahlot, told Tel Aviv Tribune that the work of the Civil Defense forces in Jabalia entails great danger, because there is no coordination between the Red Cross and the occupation forces to provide safe paths.

Kahlot explained that about 80% of the northern Gaza Strip area cannot be moved by the Civil Defense, despite the dozens of distress calls it receives from there.

The Ministry of Health in Gaza called on the relevant institutions to provide hospitals in the northern Gaza Strip with fuel, to save the lives of the wounded and sick before it is too late.

Pictures taken from Kamal Adwan Hospital showed children suffering inside intensive care units due to running out of fuel.

The Palestinian Red Crescent also confirmed to Tel Aviv Tribune that ambulances in northern Gaza had run out of fuel, and thus their services would completely stop, in light of the continuing brutal raids.

Occupation losses

On the ground, the occupation army announced yesterday, Friday, the killing of a soldier in battles in the southern Gaza Strip, just one day after it announced the killing of three officers with the rank of major in battles in the northern Gaza Strip.

Thus, the death toll of the occupation army since the 7th of October 2023 rises to 735, of whom 352 have been killed since the start of the ground invasion on the 27th of the same month, according to what is permitted to be published by the Israeli army.

The number of wounded in the occupation army since the beginning of the war reached 4,720, including 2,331 injured since the beginning of the ground invasion.

Yesterday, Friday, the Israeli army said that it intercepted a missile fired from the northern Gaza Strip towards the surrounding settlements, despite its continued incursion into the region.

Sirens sounded in the settlements of Sderot and Niram, bordering the northern Gaza Strip, according to the Israeli Army Home Front.

The occupation did not specify the location from which the missile was launched from the northern Gaza Strip.

For its part, the Al-Qassam Brigades announced the destruction of an Israeli troop carrier and its crew being killed and wounded in Beit Lahia in the northern Gaza Strip. It said that it blew up a tunnel in an Israeli engineering force east of Rafah, which led to deaths and injuries.

Likewise, the Al-Quds Brigades confirmed that they bombed with mortars a gathering of Israeli vehicles and forces east of Jabalia, and said that they engaged in fierce clashes from zero distance with an Israeli foot force in the Al-Tawam area, northwest of Gaza.
