In conjunction with the missile war and the “expected” attack and counterattack between Iran and Israel, there is a war of narratives and narratives that seem completely contradictory to each other.

Yesterday, Iran launched 180 ballistic missiles at Israel, causing human casualties, material damage, and the closure of airspace, while millions of Israelis rushed to shelters while sirens sounded throughout Israel.

According to the director of Tel Aviv Tribune’s Tehran bureau, Abdul Qader Fayez, the narrative presented by Iran is completely different from the narrative presented by Israel.

Iran officially says through the Revolutionary Guard that 90% of the missiles it fired at Israel reached their targets, and Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi confirmed that the attack “was very successful.”

While Israel talks about Iranian missiles targeting homes in Israel, Tehran confirms that it targeted security headquarters belonging to the Israeli security services, led by the Israeli intelligence service (Mossad). Tehran also confirms that it targeted military airports and military sites.

While it confirms that its operation succeeded and achieved its goals in the first step, Tehran warns of a more devastating attack if Israel goes to target Iranian territory.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that the Iranian missile attack on Israel had failed, threatening that Tehran had made a big mistake and would pay the price for it.

The director of Tel Aviv Tribune’s office pointed out that Iran used Fattah 1 hypersonic missiles for the first time, and they represent the “crown atom” in the Iranian missile system, and the most important missiles in the Revolutionary Guard system in the technological sense.

He stated that there is no proof that Iran has ever tested this type of missile, and that means that it is sending a message that it has the ability to defend its national security directly, and not necessarily through allies or factions affiliated with the axis of resistance.

The director of Tel Aviv Tribune’s bureau said that the Iranians say that the operation they carried out came in response to the assassination of the head of the political bureau of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), Ismail Haniyeh, and the Secretary-General of the Lebanese Hezbollah, Hassan Nasrallah, in addition to the assassination of important military leaders in the party.

He referred to the Iranians’ talk about an “open account” between them and Israel, related to assassinations and what is happening in the Gaza Strip, and they have paid “part of the deferred account,” as they say in Tehran.

Fayez also pointed out that the Iranian leadership has been subjected in recent days to enormous pressure from the masses gathered around the axis of resistance, and said that the decision-maker may have been practicing silence that meant a lot of talking.
