Israeli warplanes launched night raids on the Gaza Strip, resulting in martyrs and injuries, while the occupation forces blew up more residential buildings.
Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent reported that 3 Palestinians were killed and others were injured at dawn on Sunday in an Israeli bombing that targeted a residential apartment in the vicinity of the Sha’biyya Junction in the center of Gaza City.
Palestinian sources also reported that two Palestinians were killed and injured as a result of an Israeli raid on a house in the vicinity of Salah al-Din School, west of the city.
In the southern neighborhoods of Gaza City, the Israeli occupation forces blew up several residential buildings last night, according to what was reported by Al-Aqsa satellite channel.
The channel added that the bombing of the buildings coincided with the occupation forces firing in the area.
Palestinian sources said that a large explosion was heard, which later turned out to be the result of the bombing of buildings.
For weeks, the occupation forces have been penetrating some southern neighborhoods of Gaza City, especially the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood and Tal Al-Hawa.
In the northern Gaza Strip, occupation aircraft bombed a house today at dawn in the Al-Alami area of Jabalia refugee camp, killing at least one Palestinian and wounding others, according to Al-Aqsa satellite channel.
In the central Gaza Strip, an Tel Aviv Tribune correspondent reported that a number of Palestinians were injured in an Israeli bombing that targeted a house in the Nuseirat camp.
The reporter also reported that an Israeli raid at dawn destroyed a house in the city of Deir al-Balah.
New toll
The Palestinian Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced yesterday, Saturday, that the death toll from the Israeli war had risen to 41,586 martyrs and 96,210 wounded since October 7.
The Ministry said in its daily statistical report that the Israeli occupation committed 4 massacres against families in the Gaza Strip, of which 52 martyrs and 118 injured arrived at hospitals during the past 48 hours.
Resistance operations
In military developments, resistance operations against the occupation forces have recently increased in Rafah, east of Khan Yunis, and around the Netzarim axis in the central Gaza Strip.
The Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), announced yesterday, Saturday, that it had targeted an Israeli Merkava tank with a Yassin 105 shell in the Al-Tanour neighborhood, east of Rafah, in the southern Gaza Strip.
For its part, Maariv newspaper said that the Israeli army monitored increasing activity of Hamas in areas north of the Gaza Strip.
Israeli media recently reported about a plan proposed by Israeli generals to impose a military siege on the northern Gaza Strip with the aim of preventing any presence of Palestinian resistance there.
