Hamas called on the Palestinian Authority to stop what it called suspicious behavior, and called on it to push members of the security services to engage in confronting the Israeli occupation instead of pursuing the resistance.
Hamas said, “We call on the leadership of the Authority to stop the suspicious and unacceptable behavior and work to push the security services to engage in the resistance.”
The movement added that “the continued pursuit of resistance fighters by the PA security forces in the West Bank is in complete compliance with the occupation and participation in the aggression against our people.”
On a daily basis, the occupation forces carry out attacks in the cities of the West Bank, which have led to the fall of hundreds of martyrs since October 7, 2023.
Earlier, the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) said that the continued pursuit of resistance fighters, confiscation of their weapons, and the detection and dismantling of explosive devices by the Palestinian Authority’s security forces in the West Bank is in harmony with the occupation.
Hamas called on the leadership of the Authority to stop the “encroachment of the security services” on the Palestinian people and their resistance, and to support efforts to achieve unity.
