Israel’s war on Gaza has raged for nearly a year, with more than 41,000 people killed in the Palestinian territory.
Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant said Hamas had effectively been dismantled as a fighting force.
The group, however, denied the reports, saying it had sufficient resources and new recruits.
