House demolition
The occupation forces demolished a house in the town after a siege that lasted for hours, during which gunfire and rockets were fired.
Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent said that the occupation forces demanded that those trapped inside the house surrender before blowing it up, and there is no information available about their fate.
In Tulkarm, where the occupation forces continue their operations for the seventh consecutive day, the Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), said that it had ambushed an Israeli infantry force in the city’s camp, and had achieved confirmed casualties among its ranks.
The occupation army sent military reinforcements to the city and its camp amid ongoing clashes and explosions, as the army re-imposed its siege on the hospitals amidst the deployment of forces in several areas surrounding the camp, coinciding with the intensive flight of drones in its skies.
The Tulkarm Battalion of the Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Jihad Movement, also said that its fighters are confronting the Israeli occupation forces storming the city of Tulkarm with volleys of bullets and explosive devices, and are showering them with volleys of bullets on the fighting fronts in the Tulkarm camp.
She added that she detonated an explosive device in a gathering of military vehicles in the camp, causing confirmed injuries.
It also said that its fighters targeted an Israeli infantry force around the besieged house in Kafr Dan and achieved confirmed hits, and are engaged in fierce battles with the occupation army and targeting it with a barrage of bullets and explosive devices.
In Ramallah, the Israeli occupation forces stormed the campus of Birzeit University at dawn today, wreaked havoc on the student movement’s property, and seized many properties and publications related to student activities.
The occupation soldiers also posted intimidating leaflets on the students, calling on them not to participate in student activities, and threatening to destroy their future.
For its part, the Birzeit University administration condemned the occupation forces’ storming of its campus, stressing that this constitutes a major violation of all international norms and covenants that criminalize the violation of the sanctity of universities and educational institutions.
For its part, the Commission of Prisoners’ Affairs and the Prisoners’ Club reported that Israeli forces arrested at least 22 Palestinians across the West Bank, including former detainees, since yesterday evening until this morning.
Delusional government
On the other hand, the Islamic Jihad Movement said that Benjamin Netanyahu’s government is delusional if it thinks that it can pass its plan to extend its control over the occupied West Bank.
The movement called on the Palestinian Authority to review its positions before it loses what remains of the illusion of sovereignty over violated areas, according to its expression.
She also stressed that “just as the resistance in Gaza refuses to surrender to the occupation, it will not surrender to the occupation in the occupied West Bank.”
The Israeli occupation army, in conjunction with its aggression on the Gaza Strip since October 7, continues its ongoing escalation throughout the West Bank, through incursions and arrests, which has resulted in the martyrdom of about 683 Palestinians so far.
