UN Special Rapporteur: Israel cannot claim ‘right of self-defense’ | Gaza

Francesca Albanese, the United Nations special rapporteur on the occupied Palestinian territories, said Israel cannot claim the right to “self-defense” under international law because Gaza is territory it occupies. His comments came in a speech to the National Press Club in Canberra, Australia.
