Thousands demonstrated in a number of Arab capitals today, Friday, denouncing the continued Israeli aggression against the Gaza Strip, and demanding an end to the war and a boycott of goods that support the occupation.

In Yemen, the capital, Sanaa, witnessed a demonstration in support of the Palestinians, and it coincided with other demonstrations in Yemeni governorates under the slogan “With Gaza… developing capabilities and escalating operations,” demanding an escalation of operations in support of the Palestinian resistance.

Yemenis also condemned, in a protest in the city of Taiz, what they described as international failure in the face of the genocide crimes taking place in Gaza.

The participants in the protest chanted slogans saluting the Palestinian resistance and demanding support for the steadfastness of the Palestinian people, by opening the crossings and bringing food and medical supplies into the Gaza Strip. They also called on the international community to stop the ongoing crimes in Gaza and ensure that those involved are held accountable.

In Jordan, a march toured the Jordanian capital, Amman, in support of the Palestinian resistance, on the 75th anniversary of the June 1967 setback.

The participants in the march considered what happened on the seventh of last October a new history that inspires hope that the liberation of Palestine is only possible through resistance, as they put it.

The governorates of Irbid (north) and Karak (south) also witnessed a march and stand in solidarity with the Gaza Strip.

In Iraq, the capital, Baghdad, witnessed a march and stand in solidarity with the Gaza Strip after Friday prayers.

Participants in the march carried banners supporting Palestine and denouncing the continuation of the war on Gaza, as well as calls for the necessity of stopping the war on the Gaza Strip and boycotting goods that support Israel.

In Morocco, thousands organized solidarity rallies with Gaza, during which they called for support for the Palestinians and an end to the Israeli war on the Strip.

Solidarity vigils were organized after Friday prayers in several cities in the Kingdom, including Sidi Bennour and Meknes (north), Berkane, Ahfir and Zayou (east), and Agadir (west).

In Mauritania, hundreds demonstrated in the capital, Nouakchott, in support of the Palestinian cause and rejection of the devastating Israeli war on the Gaza Strip.

The demonstration was organized under the slogan “Gaza is the symbol of steadfastness, with the participation” of a number of politicians.

The Israeli war on Gaza, which entered its ninth month, left about 120,000 martyrs and wounded, most of them children and women, and nearly 10,000 missing amid massive destruction and famine that claimed the lives of children and the elderly.

Israel continues this war, ignoring a Security Council resolution demanding that it stop the fighting immediately, and orders from the Court of Justice to stop its attack on Rafah, and take immediate measures to prevent acts of genocide and improve the humanitarian situation in Gaza.
