The Israeli army expanded its incursion into the city of Rafah on Wednesday, while its military vehicles advanced towards the town of Al-Qarara in the city of Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip under heavy fire cover, and also east of the Bureij and Al-Maghazi camps in the central Strip.

Anatolia Agency reported, citing eyewitnesses, that Israeli vehicles advanced towards the eastern garage area and the vicinity of Al Awda Mosque and the Shaboura camp in the center of Rafah, coinciding with heavy gunfire and artillery shelling.

She said that the vehicles are still present in the areas north of Al-Najjar Hospital, around the Rafah crossing, and in the Al-Salam neighborhood and Al-Tanour neighborhood, east of the city.

The vehicles are also stationed in Tal Zorob and the vicinity of Tal Al-Sultan Police Station, and are advancing on Al-Zar Street, Al-Quds Street, and the vicinity of Zorob Roundabout, west of Rafah.

Fierce clashes also broke out, including continuous explosions, in the vicinity of Al-Shaboura Camp, Qishta Neighborhood, Al-Awda Roundabout, Al-Quds Street, and the vicinity of Tal Al-Sultan Police Station.

The number of martyrs rose to 75 during the past 24 hours in an Israeli air and artillery bombardment on the Bureij, Al-Maghazi, Al-Nuseirat and Deir Al-Balah camps in the central Gaza Strip.

Efforts by ambulance teams continue to transport the martyrs and injured in the Israeli raid that targeted the center of Al-Maghazi camp.

A number of Palestinians were also martyred in a bombing that targeted a house for the Qatawi family in the Nuseirat camp in the central Gaza Strip.

Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent reported that a number of people were killed and others were injured in an Israeli bombing that targeted a home for the Al-Dawli family in the Bureij camp in the central Gaza Strip at dawn today. The injured were transferred to Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital to receive treatment.

Huge destruction

Tel Aviv Tribune obtained pictures showing the effects of destruction left by the Israeli occupation army after its withdrawal from the vicinity of the University College in the Al-Sabra neighborhood, south of Gaza City.

The pictures also showed the presence of decomposing bodies of martyrs in the streets of the city.

Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent stated that the occupation arrested Palestinians – including women – after besieging a house southeast of Deir al-Balah in the middle of the Gaza Strip.

For his part, the spokesman for Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital said that the hospital currently provides its services to about one million people, and suffers from a severe shortage of medical supplies and personnel.

The hospital spokesman appealed to the international community to introduce field hospitals to control the health situation in the Gaza Strip.

Since October 7, 2023, Israel has been waging a devastating war on Gaza that has left more than 119,000 Palestinians dead or wounded – most of them children and women – and about 10,000 missing, amid massive destruction and famine that claimed the lives of children and the elderly.

Israel continues this war despite a decision by the UN Security Council to stop the fighting immediately, and orders from the International Court of Justice to end the invasion of Rafah (south) and take measures to prevent acts of “genocide” and improve the miserable humanitarian situation in the Strip.
