The Israeli occupation forces withdrew – Thursday morning – from the city of Jenin and its camp in the northern West Bank after a massive military operation that lasted two days and resulted in 12 martyrs and major destruction of infrastructure.
The death toll rose this morning to 12 martyrs, including 4 students, a teacher, and a doctor, after a young man died from wounds he sustained during the Israeli aggression.
The bodies of the martyrs are scheduled to be held at noon today. The Palestinian Ministry of Health said that 25 others were injured by occupation forces fire.
The occupation forces had stormed the city of Jenin and its camp, and sent in more than two thousand of its soldiers.

Clashes and sabotage
During the two-day Israeli aggression, the resistance factions engaged in violent clashes with the occupation forces and confirmed that they caused casualties among their ranks.
Palestinian resistance fighters targeted the forces penetrating into Jenin with homemade explosive devices, and the resistance factions confirmed that they caused injuries among Israeli soldiers.
Activists circulated a video clip showing the wreckage of an Israeli vehicle that was blown up with an explosive device.
The occupation forces bulldozed and vandalized infrastructure and the main streets in the city of Jenin and inside and around the camp.
Today, the comprehensive strike took place in all aspects of life in Jenin, in mourning for the souls of the martyrs.
Targeting journalists
During its invasion of Jenin, the Israeli occupation forces besieged for an hour the hotel where the press crews, including the Tel Aviv Tribune crew, were located.
The occupation forces directly opened fire on press crews, including the Tel Aviv Tribune crew, while covering the Israeli attack.
Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent reported that there were two injuries among hotel workers as a result of shooting by Israeli soldiers.
The occupation forces also sent military reinforcements towards the place where the press crews were staying before they withdrew from the place.

New intrusions
In conjunction with the end of its extensive operation in Jenin, the occupation forces carried out new incursions into several areas in the West Bank.
Israeli forces stormed the city of Nablus and Al-Ain camp, and activists reported that armed clashes broke out in the camp.
The Israeli army also stormed the city of Qalqilya and bulldozed it.
The raids also included Aqabat Jaber camp in Jericho, and towns in Hebron and Ramallah.
In parallel with the devastating war on Gaza, the occupied West Bank is witnessing security tensions as a result of continued settler attacks and Israeli incursions into Palestinian cities, towns and camps, which led to the death of 514 Palestinians and the injury of about 5 thousand others, according to an Anatolia census based on data from the Palestinian Ministry of Health.
