The Palestinian resistance announced on Thursday evening that Israeli army soldiers and vehicles were being targeted in the south and north of the Gaza Strip, while the number of soldiers killed in the ranks of the occupation forces rose to 6 during the last 24 hours after it was announced that an officer with the rank of reserve major was killed in an ammunition explosion in the Gaza Strip.
The Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), said that it lured an Israeli engineering force and detonated an explosive device, leaving it dead and wounded east of the city of Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip.
The Al-Qassam Brigades also said that they bombed a control and surveillance site east of the city of Jabalia with mortar shells. It added that its fighters, alongside the Al-Quds Brigades, clashed with a special Israeli force in the Jabalia camp, killing and wounding its members. The brigades also targeted four military bulldozers and a tank with Al-Yassin shells east of the camp. It confirmed that another tank was blown up east of Jabalia with a stun device from scratch.
Also in the camp, the Phalange announced that an Israeli troop carrier had been destroyed by a Yassin missile, leaving its crew dead and wounded. While Al-Qassam fighters attacked the rear lines of the forces penetrating from the eastern side, and blew up two bulldozers.
