The newspaper “Israel Today” quoted sources in the Israeli occupation army as saying that the Hamas movement has reorganized its forces in the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood in the central Gaza Strip, noting that this exposes the army forces in the Netzarim axis to danger, while the resistance factions announced the targeting of Israeli forces in various areas.

For its part, the Israeli newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth said that Hamas will remain in Rafah even if the Israeli army launches a large-scale operation in the entire city, adding that there are no magic solutions to influence Hamas.

The newspaper quoted sources in the Israeli army – which it did not name – that there is a crucial importance in making a decision on the issue of “the next day” and explaining the reason for the stalemate created by the political leadership on this issue.

Perceptions of the “day after” the war on Gaza relate to the arrangements for the Strip and who will rule it, assuming that Hamas can be eliminated.

The same sources added, “Even if we work throughout Rafah and after this invasion, Hamas will remain there, including the infrastructure.”

Earlier today, Saturday, the Israeli army directed the displacement of residents of additional areas in eastern Rafah, after the security cabinet voted yesterday, Friday, to expand the Israeli invasion of the city.

Israeli army spokesman Avichai Adraee, via the “X” platform, called on residents of eastern Rafah neighborhoods to go immediately to what he called the “expanded humanitarian zone” in Al-Mawasi.

Meanwhile, the occupation army announced that it had decided to return its forces to the city of Jabalia, north of the Gaza Strip, and deport the residents there, claiming that the reason for this was the attempts of the Hamas movement to restore its capabilities there.

Resistance battles

For its part, the Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), said that it destroyed an Israeli troop carrier with an “Al-Yassin 105” shell in the vicinity of the Rafah crossing in the southern Gaza Strip.

Al-Qassam also announced – earlier – the bombing of the city of Beersheba with rocket salvoes in response to the massacres against civilians.

The Israeli army said that sirens sounded in the city after that, and that rockets were fired from Rafah and central Gaza, some of which landed in open areas.

As for the Israeli Broadcasting Corporation, it reported that Beersheba was subjected to 15 missiles fired from Rafah, and the bombing – according to Israeli media – led to injuries among Israelis and damage to buildings.

Israeli Channel 14 said that Hamas is firing rockets at Israel with the same force as it was in the first weeks of the war.

The Al-Qassam Brigades are waging fierce battles with the Israeli army east of Rafah, where their fighters targeted Israeli forces holed up in homes and Israeli tanks that penetrated east of the city.

In Gaza City in the north, the Al-Qassam Brigades broadcast scenes showing one of its fighters sniping an Israeli soldier south of the Zaytoun neighborhood.

For its part, the Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Jihad Movement, said that it bombed with mortar shells Israeli soldiers and their vehicles penetrating the vicinity of the Al-Zaytoun Clinic in the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood, south of Gaza City.

Yesterday, Friday, the Israeli army announced that 4 of its soldiers were killed and two others were seriously injured in battles in the northern Gaza Strip.

The Israeli army said that the four soldiers were killed in the detonation of an explosive device in the northern Gaza Strip, and the four dead belonged to the Nahal unit.

The Israeli newspaper Maariv quoted mothers of Israeli soldiers who returned to fighting in the northern Gaza Strip as saying that their children feel growing frustration and do not trust the Israeli leadership.

The mothers of occupation soldiers expressed their feelings of frustration as a result of Israeli politicians manipulating the lives of their children who are fighting in the Gaza Strip.
