In an attempt to escape the effects of the devastating Israeli war on the Gaza Strip, displaced children in the city of Deir al-Balah dance and sing to the reality of songs and music they interacted with, calling on the world to live in peace and security like the rest of the world’s children.
Forming a dancing circle, the children of Gaza sway against each other, regardless of the sounds of bombing and warplanes, as they indulge in a group of fun movements.
In Deir al-Balah Hospital, a group of young people organized an entertainment event for displaced children, with the aim of alleviating the negative effects resulting from the ongoing war since last October 7.
The event – which was held inside Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital, which hosts thousands of displaced people from different areas in the Gaza Strip – included children’s songs and dance expressing Palestinian popular culture.
