The occupation launches raids and arrest campaigns in the West Bank and besieges Tulkarm News

The Israeli occupation forces stormed several towns in various governorates of the West Bank and arrested a number of Palestinians. They also besieged the Tulkarm and Nour Shams camps in the northern West Bank, amid settlers’ incursions into the city of Hebron, protected by the occupation army.

The campaign of raids began on Sunday evening and extended until dawn today, as the occupation forces stormed the city of Tulkarm with a number of military vehicles and two bulldozers and bulldozed the streets in several areas of the Tulkarm camp.

The occupation also imposed a wide siege on the Tulkarm camp with a curfew amid intense flights of reconnaissance aircraft, in addition to the occupation cutting off electricity to several areas in the camp while the Israeli military operation there continued.

The force headed towards Nour Shams camp, east of Tulkarm, where sirens sounded following the advance of military vehicles that besieged the camp from several axes, amid intense marches flying in the sky of the city and the camp, and they bulldozed the streets surrounding the camp.

Hebron and the cities of the West Bank

Settlers stormed the Tel Armida area and Al-Shuhada Street in central Hebron, south of the West Bank, and settlers roamed several streets in the city in large numbers amid military and security reinforcements.

This raid came after the funeral of the son of the mayor of the Kiryat Arba settlement in Hebron, who was found to have been killed and not detained in Gaza since the events of last October 7.

The occupation forces also stormed several areas in the town of Beit Ummar, north of Hebron, and the Issa area of ​​the city, and raided the house of prisoner Moataz al-Jubeh, whom they arrested two days ago after releasing him.

The occupation forces fired stun grenades at the citizens, stationed a number of patrols around the house, and closed the site before withdrawing from it.

The occupation forces also stormed the village of Madama, south of Nablus, and launched an arrest campaign. Palestinian platforms broadcast clips of Israeli forces in the streets of the village and indicated that some homes were stormed and their contents were tampered with.

The occupation forces stormed the town of Silwan, south of occupied Jerusalem, and stormed the Kafr Saba neighborhood in the city of Qalqilya in the north of the West Bank and the old town of Al-Khader, west of Bethlehem, and raided a number of homes.

The occupation forces had previously fired stun grenades towards Christian celebrants celebrating Saint Al-Khidr’s Day in the courtyard of St. Grace Church in the town and dispersed the celebrants.

The occupation forces stormed Tubas Governorate in the northern West Bank, as well The town of Haris, Salfit District, in the northern West Bank, raided several homes and carried out an arrest campaign.

In parallel with its war on Gaza since October 7, the Israeli army and settlers escalated their attacks on Palestinians and their property in the West Bank – including occupied Jerusalem, resulting in the death of 496 Palestinians and the injury of 4,950 others, according to data from the Palestinian Ministry of Health.
