Additionally, last year Russian authorities included the then head of the armed forces, Valery Zaluzhny and the commander of the ground forces at the time, Oleksandr Syrsky – who replaced Mr. Zaluzhny as commander-in-chief of the Ukrainian armed forces since February 8, 2024.

Response to the arrest warrant against Putin?

It should be noted that last year the International Criminal Court issued an arrest warrant for Russian President Vladimir Putin for the forced deportation of children Ukrainians to Russia. Russian Commissioner for Children’s Rights Maria Lvova-Belova is also the subject of a similar mandate. In response, Russian security forces placed the ICC judge who signed the arrest warrant against Putin on the list of wanted people.

Russia has placed several politicians and foreign figures on its wanted list, which has tens of thousands of entries.
